I still count Villa as 1887 World Champions on the basis we won the Cup then beat the Scottish Cup winners the week after. Ok, we didn't beat any foreign teams but if we had done, we'd have won about 25-0.

Anyway... quite pleased with Da Bears' schedule. We have back-to-back home games to start, and we play the Fudge Packers the week after our bye-week, and in week seventeen, when there is always a chance they'll have already qualified for the play-offs and be resting players.

Disappointed in the NFL for, yet again, inflicting Shitroit and the Cowgirls on the television public on Thanksgiving Day. Some traditions should be allowed to die.

I think Baltimore have had to sacrifice the traditional home-opener for the Intergalactic Champions as there is a rounders game in the city the same day. They open up with a Thursday night trip to 1.6 Kilometres High, which should be a decent game.

The team formerly known as Cleveland Villa took Barkevious Mingo with their first round pick

No one picked Manti Te'o in the first round. Its a shame that his dead imaginary girlfriend is no longer around to console him.

What a superb name, I can't believe how much hype ESPN put into the draft.

Sky had the NFL Network's coverage, so we missed out on Mel Kiper

The Raiders take Menelik Watson from Manchester with their second round pick

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/raiders-select-watson-42nd-overall-pick-233445486.html

Te'o picked by the Chargers.

Geno Smith picked by the gets, which probably spells the end for Mark Sanchez

How are the 49ers looking in the draft Mr Sox?

http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/teams/_/team/sfo/year/2013/san-francisco-49ers

No big names amongst their picks. However, the same could be said of the 2013 draft as a whole.

The two biggest names in the draft being T'eo and Mingo, but they're not well known because of their college play or NFL potential. T'eo's known for the whole imaginary dead girlfriend thing and Mingo becuase he has THE GREATEST NAME IN THE HISTORY OF SPORT !!

The best college player wasn't even able to enter this year's draft because of the NFL's age restrictions which would be illegal anywhere else.

There was even talk that Jadeveon Clowney (candidate for the second best name ever) would sit out the 2013 College Football season to protect against injury. However, it looks like he'll play.

The Raiders took Watson (see above)

Lawrence Okoye wasn't drafted but signed as a free agent with the 49ers (he doesn't seem to be related to Christian "The Nigerian Nightmare" Okoye)

Tom Wort wasn't drafted but is in negotiations with the Titans.

Wort's now signed for the Tits, according to the Torygraph.
