Why did the 'Skins draft another QB in the 4th Round ?

Talk about undermining your new star player before he's even played a game

Similarly to Dave Duerson last year, it appears that Seau shot himself in the chest.

Duerson shot himself in the chest in order to preserve his brain for the autopsy. He believed that he was suffering from "chronic traumatic encephalopathy" brought on by concussions sustained playing football.

Examination of his brain confirmed that Duerson's believe was correct, he was suffering from a degenerative disease linked to concussions.

Anyone seen the new Nike NFL jerseys?

They are pretty nice.  Nike has always done NCAA football jerseys well.

TBH, at least with the Bears one, the only difference I can see is the Nike swoosh rather then the Reebok mark.

Tom Coughlin has signed a two year extension with The New York Football Giants; so that's blown Bill Cowher's comeback plan.

At last the College Football champion will be decided on the field rather than by a vote

Yes, I found the College Football season baffling, glad to see it changing.

I've read it. I still don't understand it. Why do you need a "selection committee" to decide who gets in the play-offs? Too subjective for my liking.

Stick them in regional conferences. Have the conference winners plus x next best teams advance to the play-offs. Easy-peasy.

If the premier league were like college football, united would be given the title pretty much every year.

Oh wait...
