What has happened to the English(?) guy off the Sky NFL coverage? Has he had a better offer elsewhere or said something bad and was removed from the screen?

Do you mean Nick Halling or the bloke who took over from him this season ?

I watch "RedZone" so I don't see the Sky studio show

http://www.neilmonnery.co.uk/2011/09/09/nick-halling-leaves-sky-sports-nfl-coverage/

That's the guy. From reading that blog (and one that I read from a comment section) Sky have lost two very good sports broadcasters, including Mark Bolton who I remember from Central News Sport section in that he was too tall for the settee. IMHO they have then screwed up the NFL coverage by moving Nick to Boxing full time.

Oh well, looks like post season games for the Bears are disappearing over the horizon. Another three ints for Hainie although tbf, the last one wasn't his fault as the receiver had it and let it bounce out of his hands when if he had held it, it might have been a TD.

2011/12 NCAA Bowl List

http://espn.go.com/college-football/overview/_/week/17

Its a LSU v Bama rematch for the BCS National Championship; both teams having come through several tough rounds of knockout games to establish absolutely the two best teams in the nation........................ oh wait !

Boise State should be playing in the Sugar Bowl...

The BCS has shafted them again in favor of VA Tech lol.

One of the things I dislike about College football is the teams that finish 6 and 6 being rewarded with a bowl games.

How on earth is that right?

Boise got shafted in the Heisman as well. No place for Kellen Moore amongst the finalists.

Case Keenum from Houston was left out as well.

Hello, I'm new to the sport this year.  Been watching several games on SKY.

Does anyone think Packers will end 16 and 0?  Thought the Giants might end their run but no....

Has anyone achieved a 16 0 year before?

The Dolphins won every regular season game and all post-season games. Think it may have been a shorter season then.

The Vikings may have gone 16-0??

Most teams tend to lose towards the end of the regular season as they rest their best players, so that they don't get injured for the post-season. The Colts have gone pretty close to a perfect regular season a few times in the last 10 years.

The Colts could have the perfect dreadful season this year and lose all 16 games.

I think Montana's 49ers of the mid 80's nearly did it.

The Patriots went 16-0 a few years ago and then lost in the Superbowl to the Giants.    Unfortuantely in this winner takes all mentality, it is forgotten just what a great season the Patriots had that year.   Despite being a bunch of wankers.

I think the Packers will go 16-0 this season.  Looking at the rest of their schedule, I'd be very surprised if someone beat them.

Chicago would have been the toughest remaining game, and could have caused an upset if the Packers had an absolute nightmare.  No Cutler and possibly no Forte now, so that's not gonna happen.

Can't believe we lost Cutler and Forte. I think we would've made the play-offs otherwise. Every team I support is fucking jinxed.

For any Bears trivia fans "Chicago Bears 1920-70" was the second contestant on's specialist subject on Mastermind.

I got 5 right, a couple of which were jammy guesses.

"Tebow Time" now seems to be all the time

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/12/11/tim-tebow-broncos-bears-overtime_n_1142422.html

It was still only the fourth quarter again. He was shit for the other three. If Barber hadn't decided to run out of bounds and give them an extra 40 seconds we would have finally got the win without Cutler. We might have got it as well if he knew how to hold onto the ball as well on OT.
