Joe Paterno diagnosed with lung cancer

http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7251867/joe-paterno-treatable-form-lung-cancer-according-son-scott

Now, I may be cynical but the timing of this announcement seems too coincidental to me.

Meanwhile, some of Jerry Sandusky's antics were videoed

Yessssssssssssss

The BCS chaos continues as Oregon, Oklahoma and Clemson all lose. This one top of Oklahoma State's defeat on Friday

http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7260471/week-12-upsets-create-bcs-chaos

Alabama won't be in the SEC Championship Game and yet they're still favourites to meet LSU in the BCS Championship

Houston are 11-0 and Casey Keenum is one of the best college QBs ever, yet they're unlikely to get a look in

Uh-oh..............

Band news for our Bears fans

http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/7263527/melissa-isaacson-jay-cutler-thumb-injury-prove-painful-chicago-bears

Oh crap, had quite fancied us to get to the play-offs with our decent schedule.

Cowboys beating the Dolphins was a bit annoying. I thought the Phins were the better team for most of the match. Thought their QB dropped back a bit too far on each pass, meaning that is was easier for Ware to get to him, but mainly there was poor play-calling in the drive where they should have gotten a touchdown, but only scored a field goal.

That Lions bloke who was ejected has refused to apologise and says he didn't stamp on the player, he was just trying to get his footing. Does he not realise that there are cameras all over the place??

If it wasn't for our defence, Raiders would be out of sight. I can't believe I'm saying this but we really miss Cutler with the youngster throwing three picks in the first half although he also has a TD pass to his name.

Did you see that Da Bears even wanted to bring Kyle Orton back

No.

He did have two TD's to his name and his pre last drive throw to Knox bumped up his figures massively, but his inexperience shined through too many times. He couldn't even do a time wasting spike properly at the end.

What has happened to the English(?) guy off the Sky NFL coverage? Has he had a better offer elsewhere or said something bad and was removed from the screen?

Do you mean Nick Halling or the bloke who took over from him this season ?

I watch "RedZone" so I don't see the Sky studio show

even as an Eagles fan, I am loving watching this "Dream Team" thing blow up!

It's amazing.  Who thought you could run an NFL Franchise like a fantasy football team.

Also loving that Mike "ESPN's Favorite Guy" Vick has once again injured himself and is once again not playing.  Much like every season since he's been on the team.  Good thing he has that huge contract!!!

What a joke!
