Apparently the NFL are having difficulty in shifting tickets for the Wembley game.

Bugger, might have trouble shifting my spare then.
I've just looked on ebay and sellers offering 2 tix seem to be getting face price but no better. But selling 1 ticket for anything is usually harder for any event. If you put it on ebay now and start it off low you might flog it but I'd be surprised if you get all your money back. I might be prepared to take it off you but only at a discount - if you want to do that then pm me, but check out ebay first and see what you think - you might prefer to give it away to a friend for all I know. I'm not a fan of either team so I'm not hugely fussed if I go or not - I went to the first one a few yrs ago but after that I made up my mind I'd only go again if one of the 2 teams I support come over, but that hasn't happened yet.

I thought when the 2 sides were announced that they might have trouble selling tickets for this one in such a tough financial climate, and it seems that's the case. To be honest I think the prices are extortionate for a regular season game. If the NFL take a bath on sales it'll probably scupper any ideas they had about holding 2 games a season here in the future.

I thought the opposite. The Bucs have always had pretty good support in the UK, dating back to when then were absolutely terrible in the 1980s. Their British "fan club" was probably the most high profile.

The Bears are another team with a history of decent support from UK fans

I thought he Bears (and maybe the 49ers) were the two best supported teams in the UK? Possibly due to their dominance of the games in the 80's when Ch4 started to show it.

The fact that the Bucs have already been over once fairly recently probably doesn't help. A lot of their fans will think "I've seen them before, can I really afford to spend another £50 - £100 or so to watch them again?"

I've always thought the Dolphins were the best supported team in the UK but would definitely put the Bears in the top five.

Actually I agree about the popularity in UK of the Bears, but not the Bucs. Who the fuck would support them!? - takes all sorts I guess! ;-)

Al Davis has died at 82

He'd become a shadow of the owner that he'd been but will go down as one of the great characters in sport

The Raiders were a joke until Al took over as coach. The players were glad to see him arrive (especially the guy on the left by the looks of it)

It looks like the Raiders were one of the first to have disabled players because in that pic, the guy on the right has his arm growing out from his lower chest and not his shoulder.

When I was a kid I had jerseys of both Bears and Redskins and a Raiders jumper. I also had a Dolphins pencil box and a Buccaneers Cap (which I still have somewhere).

Totally. Love him or hate him (or don't even give a shit) - he's a legend. RIP Al.

Chicago lost to Detroit. Play-Offs looking tricky now, as we're unlikley to finish above 3rd spot. NFC North must be the most difficult division in NFL right now.

The Tigers look like the real thing. Suh and Fairley will be a hell of a defensive tandem.

How does anyone cover "Megatron" ?

Well, the 49ers figured out a way to deal with Detroit, winning 25-19 at Ford Field.

The Bucs and da Bears both warmed up for Wembley with home wins.

However, its difficult to look past the Packers to take it all this season

If Bears want any chance of getting into the playoffs we need to win in Wembley.

Where are the Villa Bears fans going to be? And unfortunately I'm going to miss part of the trailer party. Is it something to be at or a rip off place?
