Is anyone else taking advantage of Sky showing "NFL Redzone" via Red Button?

A great way to watch the early Sunday games (when there's ten games on at once). You get all the touchdowns, usually as they happen, and all the goal-line activity.

As for the games.........

It was expected that the Lions defense would be very good but they're also looking incredible on offense as well.

The Golden Boy continues to put up numbers but the highlight of the Pats game was Vince Wilfork's interception and run.

Cam Newton went over 400 yards again and now has the bet two passing games ever by a rookie QB in his first two games.

After the stick he had last week for failing under pressure, Tony Romo showed some guts to come back on the field with cracked ribs and lead the Cowboys to victory.

As for my Raiders, they reverted to type and blew a big lead against the Bills.

"Red Zone" is absolutely superb. Like Soccer Saturday but they are allowed to show the games rather than talk about them. I get nervous when they say... "next update is the Bears game". Sounds like we were shite on Sunday though.

I flicked on the NFL website Play by Play thing from the third quarter. We just received the ball, took it down to the redzone and then three incomplete passes meant an FG so we trailed 17-13 which could be easily overcome. Still nothing from them and I expected a score from our next possession. Cutler drops it and within 5 mins we are two touchdowns down and our attack is lucky to get more then one set of four from then on. That's the worry for Wembley. One mistake from Cutler and you might as well replace him as his confidence in the game plummets.

All true. Not really sure what new acquisitions we've brought in as haven't been paying much attention, but was sorry to see Olsen leave. He has been one of our most consistent offensive players... especially inside the opposition 20.

Seems like a couple of new Offensive Linemen and Barber at Running Back, although he's been injured.

Quick question.

Those who have tickets for this Wembley thing, were any of you against the '39th game'?
And if you were, what's the difference?

I haven't got a ticket.

However, I imagine the difference would be that they live in England, and without this NFL game at Wembley, it would be incredibly difficult for them to go to an NFL game.

As difficult as someone in Dubai getting to a Premiership game then.

Well it depends from which viewpoint you look at it.  I'm sure the American fans of the NFL team that have given up one of their home games (actually worse than the 39th game idea as that wouldn't adversly affect season ticket holders) wouldn't be too happy about it, but for British fans of the NFL its a great idea.

Even if the people on this thread who have tickets opposed the 39th game idea, then I don't think they should miss out on the NFL game opportunity because of it.

Also if I lived in Dubai then I wouldn't be too excited over the prospect of Blackburn v Stoke.

I'm just wondering of the hypocrisy of those who are so excited to have a ticket for a franchised NFL game but were vehemently opposed to Premier League games going the same way. Is all.

It's a bit different though isn't it.

The 39th game was going to change the whole rules of the league where one team could play another three times and the draw would have been random. The points from this additional game would count towards the league and could have a bearing who could win it.

NFL has several mini leagues and lends itself more to overseas as they have huge distances between stadiums anyway with only partisan support and no away support.
