I watched every second of it. Great game (due to shocking pass coverage) but a gut wrenching finale.

Wow !

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d815a5f0c/NFL-GameDay-Packers-vs-Cardinals-highlights

Just saw scoreline on SSN. I knew H&V wouldn't let me down when it came to finding out more.

Joining this thread pretty late and unlikely I'll stick around. Used to be really into NFL about 20 years ago, supported Dallas as theirs was the first game I saw on Channel 4 (beating NY Jets I think). I assume most of those posting on this thread used to frequent the shop in Oasis in town. Not still there is it?

Visited Dallas a couple of years ago for a WWE event and found the locals to be pretty vile, so been less inclined to support them since then. Philadelphia on the other hand was an awesome place with great people and so I find myself torn between two teams in the same division.

I greatly enjoyed the game and the finale.

Nice to see that the coin toss didn't decide the game like it usually does.

MVP should have been Feely for punting and kicking :o)

I watched this game last night (nowt else on!) and while I didn't understand much of what was going on it was good fun.

Was it a shock result?

One other question, why do the home crowd seem to make more noise when they are defending rather than when attacking?

to see Jones and Dubya Bush high five after a TD makes it clear which team most sensible people should support, Vikings all the way.

That ALMOST clinched the official ending of my support... but then I realised that Michael Vick now plays for Phillie and I'm all confused again.

Ah well, might just go and start reading the whole thread while I try and decide what to do.

Technically the Cardinals had a better record over the season, so it wasn't a shock. I think most people thought that the Packers would win though.

The reason that they less noise on offence (offense) is that they don't want their team to 'false start', which would result in a penalty flag and them losing yards. If the Centre (Center) and the QB can't hear the count, then they'll go too early or too late.

Some teams fans are more disiplined at remaining quiet than others.

To cause more disruption to the opposition, the idea being that the opposition can't hear the plays being called and to make it more intimidating.

I bought a few things from them but they never seemed to have the size I wanted. A pretty good store though.

Me too. Neither side had a clue how to defend.

One of the best games ever, no question.   Shocking way for it to end though.

The Saints offence should have a field day against the Cardinal's defence next week.

Cracking game in the end was worried that Arizona had blown it but they came good in the end.

Two of the teams I really don't want to win are gone... bye bye Packers and Patriots... just need the winners of Vikings v Cowboys to lose the Championship game and I will be happy.

Seahawks

I think that Pete Carroll bailed out of USC before the NCAA look too closely at the program
