Actually, there might be another consolation for Eagles fans. In the Sky studio last night they mentioned there was a strong rumour in the US that the teams for this year's Wembley match will be the 49ers (almost definitely) against whichever team lost between Dallas-Philly last night.

The rumour I heard was that it would be a JAX home game, possibly against the Redskins. However, I've also heard that it could be KC v SEA

Its Texas v Alabama in the NCAA BCS College Football Championship this week.

Apparently they're playing for the TARDIS Trophy

This is a bit rubbish. Hope the Cardinals and Ravens win tomorrow to cheer me up.

Bloody Eagles - always let me down, ever the bridesmaid and never the bride

Good to see the Jets go through - always think it is nice when teams who haven't been at the races for a long time suddenly appear at the business end of things. Bit like us in the league cup semis...

Come on you boys! Only got to see the last hour due to a power cut - when Sky + started it was 27-7 and then Felix Jones scored so while that was great it rather ruined any anticipation of the result!

Noticed George Bush hob-nobbing with Jerry Jones.

Vikings next. Easy, easy....not!

to see Jones and Dubya Bush high five after a TD makes it clear which team most sensible people should support, Vikings all the way.

And me now the Eagles are out. I like their purple kit and they have been crap for so many years, they deserve it...
