I'm still expecting them to come undone at some point......they can't go the whole season and playoffs playing that kind of 'we'll just score more than you' attitude, can they?

Same with the Colts.

But they weren't unbeaten.

They'll probably rest players and lose a game at the end of the regular season.

The Saints and the Colts both look capable of going the whole season without defeat. Could be a classic Superbowl. I don't think they will rest too many if the 19-0 is still possible. They might bench players when they are miles ahead in the third/fourth quarters.

I hope one of them does it cos I don't like the Patriots and it would be nice for someone to do it before they do. Preferably the Bears, but I'm not sure the league will still be going in three thousand years' time.

As much as I try to like the Patriots, what with them being from the Boston area, they do make it difficult.

Billy B has got to be the most arrogant, obnoxious coach in the sport and Tom Brady just comes across as smug.

The thing I hate most about Bill B (aside from the whole spygate crap) is that people call him a genius every second of the day.

But he has a GREAT team.

If it is all him, like peple insist it is, why wasn't he a genius when they chased him out of Cleveland?

Surely the Browns could have used a GENIUS!

(sidenote: my son was actually born as the Giants beat the PAts in the superbowl, sparing me from watching my two least favorite teams play)

The NCAA BCS title game is now set; its Texas v Alabama.

Both teams are undefeated, so I suppose I can't really argue.

Upstarts TCU and Boise State do make a BCS bowl game but they're pitched against each other in the Fiesta Bowl. Its almost like the BCS people said, "Ok, we have to let you in but just go over there out the way and play by yourselves".

Meanwhile in the NFL, the Colts (over Vinn-Y and the resurgent Titans) and Saints remain undefeated. However, New Orleans only just scraped an OT victory over the DC Native Americans.

There was another win for my Raiders. They must be the most perplexing team in the NFL; only four wins but three of them are over the Bengals, Eagles and now the Steelers.

I see the Redskins missed a 23-yard field goal that would've put them ten points up with 1.30 left. Saints might start to think their name is on the V**** L******* Trophy.

Mid you, I thought the same a few years back when the Bears beat Arizona ('The Miracle in the Desert') but we still ballsed it up in the end.

Not sure whether I was pleased we won this week or not. While we are still mathematically in the play-off hunt Smith won't try any younger players. We desperately need some to come through with limited draft picks next year.

Since I was without internet access for most of Fri & Sat, I've only just become aware of this.

Pittsburgh Steelers 6 - Cleveland Villa 13

That's now two wins this season for Randy's other team and means that the Steelers are under .500 after 5 straight defeats
