I actually work with a guy who played with him in college.  He claims that they were friends (he was a RB).

I am going to see him at our POA meeting July 13th.

I will hound him for personal information.

Did you find anything out ?

HAHAHA!

Yeah, I found out I am an idiot, and he played with Gerrard, not McNair...

He did look at me like I had three heads when I asked about it though!!!

RIP Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jimmy Johnson.

Truly one of the best ever.

The infamous Bend but not Break Defensive Line!

I get my Jim/Jimmy/Jimmie Johnson's mixed up.

For a moment there I thought you were saying that the ex-Dolphins coach was dead or that the NASCAR guy had gone.

Anyhow, RIP Jim. A defensive guy through-and-through. I don't think I ever heard his name linked to a Head Coaching job.

no, he never did the head coaching thing.  I don't think he really wanted to though.

He is legendary in the NFL and especially in Philly and the East Coast.  His name is probably more well known in the NFL than Andy Reid (rightfully so).

He was old school.  Would rather be the best at what he wanted to do than be mediocore at what everyone else wanted to do.

It looks like the Arena Football League will be folding.

This is disappointing to me. The AFL rejuvenated the career of players such a Kurt Warner and seemed a great way for low profile players to work their way up to the NFL.

However, we still have the LFL and UFL to look forward to !!

I heard about that.

Sad to say I have no clue what the AFL is.

Pre-season games have begun and we already have a "play of the year" candidate

I like the "Meadowlark Lemon" references on the commentary from Cris Colinsworth

Man, I wish the Titans were still the Oilers.

Those uniforms are great!

I am really upset about this.

I can't get my head around this.  I mean first off, he doesn't fit in the offense at all.

But secondly, and most importantly, I HATE the guy.

I never tell anyone this, because it doesn't matter and I don't put my beliefs on anyone.

But I am a Vegan, don't eat any meat of any kind.  I don't wear leather (which makes finding shoes to go with my suit difficult), and I have a special interest in Pitbulls.

I live with two.  Lucy (8 yrs old), and Julian (2 years old).  Julian was found in an apartment a year and a half ago, and had to be taken out by poilice because he was so abused.

Everyone has SOMETHING that they really believe in, and my thing is these animals.

I really am beside myself.  I can't root for this guy. I can't root for a team that has this guy on the bench.

I am not oppossed to him  again somewhere at sometime.

But I would want it to be SOMEWHERE ELSE.  (preferably the Giants, Cowboys, Redskins or Patriots).

I really don't know what to do.
