I'm sure myself and UKRS, among others, have been calling them that for years. We should jointly sue for copyright.

Since at least 2013 :)

Uproar at the end of the game between the New York Football Giants and the Washington Football Team.

The Washington Football Team thought they had a First Down and the chains were moved but the on field official signaled third down. Shanahan wanted to challenge the on field ruling but says that an official told him not to bother as it was a First Down. A play was run and the on field official then signaled Fourth Down.

All a bit confusing

Poor show not calling them the New Jersey Football Giants, though. 😁

For once I wasn't actually taking the piss when I typed that name for the Giants.

The New York Football Giants was what they were called when there was a baseball team in NY with the same nickname

They don't play there now, either.

Chris Berman on ESPN still refers to them as the New York Footballing Giants.

I'm sure UKR knows this (although a lot of Mets fans don't seem to), the Mets' colours are a combination of the departed Dodgers' blue and (baseball) Giants' orange.

Nice of Swift to drop a certain TD, with about 2 seconds to go.

49ers for the Superbowl this year. I hope. Last year was painful.

Not with half the team injured, no chance.
