I remember when the Sky money was meant to subsidise lower ticket prices. Still waiting for that to happen.

All that's happened is the players have got richer

I'm well aware of that, but the point is that with the money coming in from TV and elsewhere, even if Premier League clubs didn't earn a penny in gate money they could still pay players an obscene wage.
