Same system. AEG and Barkley back in the starting line up. Wesley on the bench
-
Ross starts so hope he pulls his finger out, good to see Wes on the bench.
-
I’m stunned Ross Barkley is starting this game, let alone in the squad. Really disappointed in this.
I hope he proves me wrong.
-
Bitters: Johnstone, Furlong, Ajayi, Bartley, Townsend, Gallagher, Yokuslu, Maitland-Niles, Robinson, Pereira, Diagne.
Subs: Button, Robson-Kanu, Livermore, Phillips, Diangana, Sawyers, Peltier, O’Shea, Grant.
-
Sigh. Bit disappointing to see Barkley back in and no Davis
-
Currently sat in my back garden and I’ve just heard the Blose fan next door say to his Mrs that Barkley is starting. I’m not sure what’s sadder, the fact he’s starting or the fact the neighbour must have been glued to the internet to see our starting line up!!!
-
Is his missus a Villa fan though?
-
I give up,predicted and depressed
-
He must have imbibed the spirit of MOM with this level predictability in every game
-
I give up,predicted and depressed
Ross starting predicted?
-
Barkley starting? Totally earned after all his scintillating performances recently.
-
Smith's taking a big risk starting Barkley.
He'll cop some serious flak if we don't win.
-
A win today takes us up to 9th, 30 points back of Man City with a game in hand. All to play for boys. UTV!!
-
El Ghazi normally plays well against the bitters. Here’s hoping for another purple patch!
-
Is his missus a Villa fan though?
and is she pretty😀
-
Predicted :no young uns
Depressed: Barkley in
-
Barkley starting? Totally earned after all his scintillating performances recently.
Hope the pitch side fencing has been strength tested for his rest on his way back to the tunnel.
-
Barkley should be nowhere near the squad, let alone the team. And surprised Kesler isn't on the bench given his form at right back for the under 23s.
-
i suppose we have paid the loan fee so let’s try and get out moneys worth
-
Starting with Barkley is a shocker. It needs to work. If it doesn't work, Smith will have lost any credibility. If it does work, well that would be great...
-
Well, if Barkley doesn't shine today against a Championship bound West Brom then he never will.
-
Fucking Barkley, and 2 CB on the bench.
-
We can only hope he’s had a better week in training
-
Christ. That’s the poorest starting line up in a long while.
Should be playing Davis and the kids.
We are doomed with stubborn managers.
-
Barkley deserves his place back in the team after his recent gut busting efforts. Not.
Prove me wrong Ross.
-
Shockingly bad team and bench. Absolutely disgusted.
-
Ok, I'll do it.
The selection of Barkley is evidence that Smith has lost the plot, and I guarantee that he will do fuck all all game, and probably cost us the match. In fact, we will definitely lose. Anyone who disagrees is a wanker with a dodgy browsing history and his (or hers) sister's phone number.
-
Is his missus a Villa fan though?
and is she pretty😀
Not bad,but I guess the comment was for my benefit as he was laughing his bollocks of as he said it. I hope for Deans sake Barkley has a good game, but I cannot see it myself.
-
That is a really disappointing team. Would be very happy to be surprised but I don’t think this will be a good game.
-
Win please Villa.
-
With AEG, Barkley and Traore starting, it would be no surprise to see us lose by 2 or 3.
-
Fucking Barkley, and 2 CB on the bench.
Exactly..Hause could cover l/b and c/b allowing room for young uns
-
Not overly impressed but let's see.
-

Three players who have been shocking recently. OK, boys, let's see what you can do. It's West Brom. Now, come on....
-
Can't believe Ross is in the matchday squad, let alone the starting 11?! What the hell is Smith watching to warrant a starting place for him over literally ANYONE ELSE in our squad - He'd better hope it pays off or it's gonna be hellfire on here at FT (or post Line of Duty at least!).
I'll call it here first - Another inept performance from Dross, and we'll be a goal or two down and he'll sub him for Keinan in the 65th min.
I'm stunned.... Absolutely stunned. What message does this send to the rest of the squad when a player who couldn't break wind, let alone break into a run gets in ahead of the other midfielders. Shocker from Dean, that.
-
Looks like 4-2-4 to me, which means bypassing the midfield and
hoofi getting it straight up to the forwards.
I still think we'll win.

Try not to take it all too seriously, would be my advice.
-
Hooray. Barkley is starting. Come on Ross! UTV!
-
Just about the best news is that Wesley is back in the squad.
-
Seeing Barkley start is the most unpredictable thing we will see, because the rest of the team and formation is so bloody predictable.
-
Good luck Ross hope you find some form and confidence.
-
Just about the best news is that Wesley is back in the squad.
He won’t get a game though.
-
I think we just anticipate West Brom will actually attack so getting in extra attacker/ball carrier makes sense to me for the counter attacks.
I'm not as pessimistic by the team as some and think we'll create a decent amount today. Will be a more open game than many think.
Not really sure who else should be starting. I mean Nakamba stays in and it's a pretty negative midfield selection.
-
Well, hopefully not, as he's more likely to come on if we aren't winning.
-
I can only think that Dean has been impressed with Barkley in training.
-
Not really sure who else should be starting. I mean Nakamba stays in and it's a pretty negative midfield selection.
Easy - Ramsey.
-
Great to see Wes back after 16 months out
-
I suppose it means McGinn will be stifled and asked to play more defensive again, instead of his better, more advanced role.
-
I suppose it means McGinn will be stifled and asked to play more defensive again, instead of his better, more advanced role.
I guess so ... otherwise, we'll either win 6-0 or lose by the same!!
-
Who had Wesley back before Grealish?
-
I suppose it means McGinn will be stifled and asked to play more defensive again, instead of his better, more advanced role.
Exactly. We saw a glimpse of the McGinn of old with the shackles off... Why change it when it was starting to work, and his form was improving as a result?
-
I haven't seen Sammy Lee knocking around the dugout lately. Has 'Big Sam' eaten 'Little Sam'?
-
Think Smith is just trying to give a helping hand to our beloved neighbours!!
-
That line up is a great insight into our total lack of depth - to be understood, but we've got a lot of spending to do in the summer.
-
Well, if Barkley doesn't shine today against a Championship bound West Brom then he never will.
I remember Stephen Ireland had his best ever performance for us against Hereford in a league cup game. Maybe this is going to be Barkleys Hereford moment ?
-
Mid table, season is over and still he plays a team full of players out of form. Why isn’t he playing Ramsey etc - Christ he’s more stubborn than some of the other stubborn managers we’ve had. I’m at a loss to explain what he’s thinking
-
Looking forward to this, come on Villa, lets twat this shower senseless.
-
Barkley to play a blinder and score one of our 3 goals today.
Somebody had to take on the case for the defendant. He’s got talent. He needs to believe and show it. He will today.
-
Barkley is not going to be here next season. There is no point playing him.
-
I haven't seen Sammy Lee knocking around the dugout lately. Has 'Big Sam' eaten 'Little Sam'?
Worry not. He's safely in the back of the jag with his trousers off.
-
Surprised to see Barkley starting and disapointed not to see Ramsey and Davis start. The midfield will need to be at it as it looks a bit weak. It's brave from Smith though in an attacking sense which is what some people want.
-
I'd rather jam red hot pokers in my eyes than see Barkley play for us again. Fucks sake.
-
Some of the language and attitude on here is bizarre given the game hasn't even kicked off yet.
I mean I get used to it after 60 mins if we're losing etc but really?
-

Advice that Ross usually follows.
-
Ollie Watkins just walked down the tunnel with the club doctor. Let’s hope they are having a chat about their favourite flavour of jam, biscuits or sauce and not discomfort in an important hamstring or the like.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, our Superfan!!
Let them moan! Makes people feel better.
-

I mean I get used to it after 60 mins if we're losing etc but really?
Agreed. It’s all a bit melodramatic. He’s not played well and maybe this is a mistake. But it’s hardly worth losing ones mind over before a ball has been kicked.
-
Not really sure who else should be starting. I mean Nakamba stays in and it's a pretty negative midfield selection.
Easy - Ramsey.
He's dipped a little for me in recent times. Not as confident in his early outings so think impact sub for last 20 to add more energy is right way to go for this.
-

I mean I get used to it after 60 mins if we're losing etc but really?
I'm prepared to defend the negativity, if that's what you're referring to.
We're safe in mid-table and have some promising youngsters: why not play a couple?!
-
Someone said on another thread they were worried that if the crowd was allowed in, they'd be booing decisions automatically by now. It looks as if there's some truth in that!
-
Ollie Watkins just walked down the tunnel with the club doctor. Let’s hope they are having a chat about their favourite flavour of jam, biscuits or sauce and not discomfort in an important hamstring or the like.
It's ok. Dean will move Elmo to centre forward, Konsa to right back and will bring Engel's in. All sorted ;-)
-

Absolutely. Give them a chance FFS. Too much hate.
-

Yes it is.
-
Youngsters being saved for FA youth cup?
-
I really hope we beat the Tesco Bags.
-
Evening all, if anyone has a good tiny rivulet recommendation they could PM I'd be mightily grateful
-
Watkins walked off with the medical staff in the warm up. Still due to start
-
Barkley has had all his chances and thrown them away he does not deserve to play for Villa and even if he scores 3 today he will not be playing for us next season so why block our younger prospects chances. Ramsey or Chukwumeka should start ahead of Barkley and Kessler should be at right back.
-

No it makes us look really small time. He’s a loan player who likely won’t be here next year. We are safe so while I can understand the argument of playing kids, it’s also a local derby where experience helps. There’s no massive risk in playing him plus lots of upside. I hope he does prove all of us wrong but chances are he will come short of that. But 6 pages mostly devoted to Ross Barkley playing is all a little daft.
-
Well, if Barkley doesn't shine today against a Championship bound West Brom then he never will.
I remember Stephen Ireland had his best ever performance for us against Hereford in a league cup game. Maybe this is going to be Barkleys Hereford moment ?
Hereford were far better quality.
-
Oh, and Villa, please, please get rid of this horrible music we walk out to.
-
Watkins out?
-
There's some players out there who owe us a performance. Time to deliver.
-
Who had Wesley back before Grealish?
I've got Glenn Miller back before Grealish.
-
Disappointing to see a Barkley starting. I just really hope he proves me wrong.
-
Evening all, if anyone has a good tiny rivulet recommendation they could PM I'd be mightily grateful
Me too please.
-
Oh, and Villa, please, please get rid of this horrible music we walk out to.
Is it still 'Escape'?
-
I hope we hear Paranoid at least five times tonight....
-
Barkley looks up for this
-
Barkley looks up for this
Been shit so far.
-
Nervous about this one, not as hard as the last game, but still difficult, as wba are fighting for their lives. Barkley needs to do something useful, it has it happen sometime.
-
Barkley looks up for this
Been shit so far.
Have I got the right game on?
-
Penalty!
-
Barkley needed that ball on the ground
-
Barkley looks up for this
Been shit so far.
Have I got the right game on?
He has lost the ball 3 times
-
Nice passing.
-
Barkley looks up for this
Been shit so far.
At least he's wanting to get on the ball tonight, that's more than his last 3-4 appearances.
and did well to win the penalty.
-
Penner
-
El ghazi to take it?
-
Yesssss!
-
Sccccooorrrrrrreeeeeeee!!!
-

Yeah, he needs to put a shift in.
Good pen
-
absolute silk by villa one touch passing into the area
-
1-0
-
Brilliant penalty to give him the credit.
If AEG played like he does agianst the Baggies in every game he'd be a £100m player.
-
Get in.
-
Yes! Barkley won a pen. The most useful he's been recently ;D ;D
-
Easy so far, cutting through them nicely.
Soft pen but we'll take it.
-
Yessssss!
-
Keep it up Villa: don't chuck it all away this time!
-
Brilliant penalty to give him the credit.
If AEG played like he does agianst the Baggies in every game he'd be a £100m player.
Agree on both counts.
-
Get in!!
-
It was too near for Pereira.
-
Now we’ve gotta watch El Ghazi try and score from 40 yards all game
-
Who'd have thought it! Barkley wins a pen and AEG scores. Fuck me, we'll have Elmo providing an assist soon.
-
Martinez beaten there
-
Who'd have thought it! Barkley wins a pen and AEG scores. Fuck me, we'll have Elmo providing an assist soon.
Elmo on the head of Davis!
-
Watkins asleep then.
-
Some good breaks
-
Short corners, why?
Nothing wrong with just hitting it towards six yard box and hopefully someone makes a run and heads it in as Burnley showed earlier.
-
AEG is playing quite well.
-
They're all playing well.
-
AEG having his usual stormer v them, should've had a shot there.
We're playing through them very nicely.
-
Luiz lucky there to get a free kick. We are being hurried and being pegged back.
-
Watkins asleep then.
Truly outrageous ball in from Traore.
-
Seats on the upper north could do with a bit of a clean.
-
A win today takes us up to 9th, 30 points back of Man City with a game in hand. All to play for boys. UTV!!
Steady in the ranks. Early days ⚽
-
Would be five wins and twelve points more than at end of last season.
-
Konsa has his c.......igar out against this level of opposition.
-
Pen to them
-
Fuck off. What a dive.
-
1-1
-
Balls
-
How incredibly soft is that, no way that gets given if we didn't get a penalty.
-
To be fair it's soft but no more than ours.
-
Have they turned VAR off?
-
Have they turned VAR off?
No, it was checked
-
What does VAR do again?
-
Have they turned VAR off?
No, it was checked
For about 2 seconds by a blind Baggies fan.
-
Deserved equaliser IMO.
-
Bloody soft penalty that was.
-
Annoying - but don’t let your heads drop Villa we’re much better than these.
-
What is the point of Peter Walton? Has he ever disagreed with the on-field decision (other than the Man City one against us where he changed his mind afterwards).
-
Fuck's sake.
-
This ref is not giving us a lot
-
Gravity is a bit too strong for this lot.
-
Jeez McGinn and his lack of concentration at times. Stopped a promising spell of play there.
-
Gravity is a bit too strong for this lot.
Yep, ref has shown he'll give anything if you fall over and they're making the most of it.
-
Peter Walton....it’s a penalty in the ‘context of the game.’ What the fuck does that mean ? It’s either a pen or it’s not.
A dearth of quality from both teams.
-
We need to wake up
-
Let off there. They'll get one from a corner if we're not careful.
-
We are going to lose this game if we don’t sort ourselves out.
-
We’re second best at the moment.
-
The sooner the crowds are back the better. Garbage
-
Why did he stay on his feet there? More contact from Elmo than Konsa.
-
So predictable. Same old every game.
-
Apparently Smethwick haven't won a single game in the prem this season when they have conceded the first goal. So that's okay then ...
-
The attitude is all wrong.........again.
-
We had two balls on the pitch then.
-
The long throw
-
Apparently Smethwick haven't won a single game in the prem this season when they have conceded the first goal. So that's okay then ...
Chelsea
-
That was a good effort from El Ghazi
-
We started well and we’ve shut off again. It’s a mentality thing. We’re not strong enough to impose ourselves mentally as much as physically. We have to want it more than them.
-
We're the better side here. Just need to be quicker around the box.
-
The sooner the crowds are back the better. Garbage
Absolutely. We wouldn’t be this sloppy with a crowd there
-
Apparently Smethwick haven't won a single game in the prem this season when they have conceded the first goal. So that's okay then ...
They scored 5 v Chelsea after being 1-0 down about three weeks ago.
-
Better. Traore close there.
-
Forgot Traore was playing
-
Apparently Smethwick haven't won a single game in the prem this season when they have conceded the first goal. So that's okay then ...
Chelsea
Oh okay - apart from that one then. I must have misheard
-
Looking better now.
-
Bloody soft penalty that was.
I didn't think it was a penalty.
-
On the beach.
-
Ollie looks out of sorts to me.
-
Didn’t Ollie walk off the club doctor before kick off? He’s not lurking in his usual places...
-
Not sure what the moaning is about. We're playing alright, just the final ball.
-
Not sure what the moaning is about. We're playing alright, just the final ball.
I agree.
-
Bloody soft penalty that was.
I didn't think it was a penalty.
Both looked a bit soft to be honest. Actually think we have been a bit better than recent games and are at least trying to play some football.
-
Not sure what the moaning is about. We're playing alright, just the final ball.
Absolutely this. Cheer up, everyone. We're playing better than we have for several weeks.
-
Not sure what the moaning is about. We're playing alright, just the final ball.
I agree and of course Tesco’s have to go for it so expect a bit of trouble at the back
-
Not sure what the moaning is about. We're playing alright, just the final ball.
I agree, I think we're comfortably on top but just can't get the final ball right.
-
Not sure what the moaning is about. We're playing alright, just the final ball.
I agree.
Absolutely.
I do think though seeing Watkins wide so much, why we don’t use another striker.
-
Not sure what the moaning is about. We're playing alright, just the final ball.
I agree, I think we're comfortably on top but just can't get the final ball right.
Watkins movement outside the box has been excellent but he has been caught on his heels a few times in the box
-
Christ, they tore us apart then.
-
Did Traore totally miss the ball in a free header in the middle of the park then?
-
We might be on top, but they have had the best chances.
-
Perieria wants a move to us, nice skill there.
-
Did Traore totally miss the ball in a free header in the middle of the park then?
Yep
-
Did Traore totally miss the ball in a free header in the middle of the park then?
Yep. The massive donkey.
-
It is a scrappy game. Also Douglas Luiz needs to reign in the rash challenges.
-
We are fucking shite.
-
Piss poor so far. Should be 3 - 1 down.
-
We are lucky to be level.
-
Off the bar for them.
-
Are the boggies playing in slippers? They seem to be struggling to stand up
-
Piss poor so far. Should be 3 - 1 down.
Perieria wants a move to us, nice skill there.
I’d take him, I like the angry little ratty players
-
Get McGinn off now.
-
McGinn’s passing is shite lately.
-
The people that think we are playing well must have a very low bar of what they think is playing well
-
How was there no foul o Mings when Maitland-Nyles had both hands his right arm but gallagher got a soft as shit free kick a few seconds later? Fucking ref is shit, fall over you get a free kick, stay up and it can't be a foul it seems.
-
It's a cross, fuck off.
-
What the fuck was that?
-
The people that think we are playing well must have a very low bar of they think is playing well
I tend to agree. We are lucky to still be in this.
-
unforced errors all over the place.
-
Championship standard last five minutes.
Barkley looks completely at home in this sort of play.
-
Good approach work again, and then final ball this time too.
-
McGinn can’t pass wind
-
Elmo's crossing is pure Steve Bruce.
-
Play it out wide then do a shite cross.
Repeat.
The sum total of our tactics every game.
-
Rabble atm
-
Been battered for last ten mins but some think it’s fine, I personally think it’s disgraceful and far too many players on the beach. Smith should be given no more than six games next season to show he’s upto the challenge of getting us in top 8 and if not, bye.
-
I hate watching this Villa side. Huge rebuilding required.
-
Utter utter shite
-
Wesley on at half time maybe?
-
Corner. Not that it will be of any use.
-
We need to be more patient. It looks a little rushed at times.
-

Good for you. Anger is a great aphrodisiac.
-
We need to be more patient. It looks a little rushed at times.
The team or match thread posters.
-
Boggies will be massively encouraged for the second half.
We have got to lift our game. This is all far too scrappy and they are coming out on top.
-
Takes all sorts I suppose, but I think we've been the better side, far more menacing and we've been much slicker in our approach work. Final ball not there. Need to avoid set pieces ad they have 1 player capable from open play. Never a penalty for them, and ours was about as soft as they come.
-
I like Targett on the corners, he's got the right idea at least.
-
The biggest problem is that we don't have a pattern of play to create chances. Every player who gets the ball has to stop and think what to, rather than there being the muscle memory passes because they know player A is going to position B etc.
-
Jesus, how many are we losing by? Are we three behind?
-
You can see that West Brom are a poor team. The tragedy is that we don't look any better. Sloppy passing, error strewn.... Disappointing.
-
Disappointing half. They can count themselves unlucky to not winning.
-
I hate watching this Villa side. Huge rebuilding required.
This is f**king hilarious.
-
Toothless and clueless garbage.
-

I saw them as much more threatening.Perreira running it.
-
Seen far far worse in recent weeks against poorer teams than them.
We do need the next goal though otherwise they'll just time waste to death and we'll run out of ideas particularly with lack of bench options.
-
Not been great.
-
I hate watching this Villa side. Huge rebuilding required.
Bar Grealish and the back four, I can't say I'd be sorry to see any this this team jettisoned in the Summer.
-
I don’t think any of our lot have been particularly bad, it’s just that none of them have been particularly good.
-
Disappointing half. They can count themselves unlucky to not winning.
You're obviously watching a very different game to me
-
Disappointing half. They can count themselves unlucky to not winning.
Aftab, I normally agree with you on absolutely everything, but what game are you watching?!
-
Not sure what the moaning is about. We're playing alright, just the final ball.
Really? Do you still think this at half time? Honestly I’m not trying to be funny, but I think we are very sloppy and well, quite boring, for me just not good enough.
-
We need to stop giving the ball away I still think we will get something in the second half.
-
I was berating that team selection prematch, but I don’t think we’ve played badly tbh.
Barkley getting involved, Doug much improved, El Ghazi and Traore a handful.
Loved the Mings headed clearance when he skittles two Baggies players in the process! 💪🏽
-
Wesley on at half time maybe?
I very much doubt it. Having been out so long, I doubt he would last 45 mins. A few mins at the end probably.
-
I feel like I'm at Fyre Festival reading this thread.
-
Pretty poor really.
-

They've had two shots on target and one of those was free shot from 12 yards.
We lost our way a bit after the penalty but finished the half strongly.
Look at all the occasions we've passed around them and opened them up for crosses and stuff into the box. Just shows we desperately need another player who can make the right pass or shot in those situations as we simply don't have a reliable one without Jack.
El Ghazi played well so far.
-
Seen far far worse in recent weeks against poorer teams than them.
Poorer teams than the Baggies? What on earth are you on about, there's only one team poorer, and we managed to lose to them!
-
Neither of those were penalties. Both went down too easily.
-
Some of the passing from both teams has been poor, but McGinn has unnecessarily given away the ball a lot when not under pressure.
-
Sexual Ealing, not angry, just very disappointed. Life goes on if they lose, I’d love to see a team who look as if they give a flying fuck and give it their all. Hey ho
-
We seem to have run out of ideas and the slick football that we had the likes of Neville and Carragher waxing lyrical about earlier in the season seems such a long time ago. Is it confidence?
-
It was poor but some of you lot need some Prozac in your weetabix.
-
Think we have played pretty well with the ball. Best AEG has played in a long time. Barkley did well to win the penalty and Traore has been ok. McGinn unfortunately doesn't seem to have put his contacts in.
Unfortunately without the ball we aren't offering much resistance. Perreira is running riot. Luiz and McGinn not proving our centre backs with much cover. Luiz keeps getting caught wrong side of the ball.
-
McGinn has been iffy. Keeps giving the ball away.
-
It's important we don't go behind in this one. They will park the bus and we'll struggle even more.
-
Just what has happened to McGinn’s awareness? Stray pass after stray pass. It is so frustrating.
-
I hate watching this Villa side. Huge rebuilding required.
Bar Grealish and the back four, I can't say I'd be sorry to see any this this team jettisoned in the Summer.
What, you’d get rid of Watkins? Luiz, McGinn? We might not be brilliant tonight, but that’s a massive overreaction. The last thing we need is yet another massive rebuild.
-
This must be the most polarised half time discussion ever! I’m in the ‘I thought we did ok’ camp and am struggling to understand the ‘we’re doomed’ camp 😳
-
We've been easily the better side, and I thought their penalty was kind of bullshit (the referee's decision wouldn't have been overridden had he not given it). As they might say in India, this is a half where we have to do the needful only - but how many times have we said that recently?
-
Our midfield balance has been so wrong for so many weeks now. We can’t seem to fix this problem either with whatever personal we try.
-
I'm losing a bit of confidence in Smith.
-
I think I must be tripping because, to me, we played really well in that half. I'm going to have a mezcal and reassess.
-
When are going to get on the end of a corner kick?
-
A very decent first half comes to an end.
All square and all to play for in the second half.
Doesn't seem to tally with the views on here.
Personally I'm fuming but that's because I've been listening to Clinton Morrison.
-
Watkins needs to get himself in front of goal, two great crosses across the box and no-one there to put it away.
-
Seen far far worse in recent weeks against poorer teams than them.
Poorer teams than the Baggies? What on earth are you on about, there's only one team poorer, and we managed to lose to them!
I'm going more by their last 6-7 games, they've won 3 of them so without checking that's probably more than Fulham, Brighton, Southampton Newcastle, Palace and perhaps even Arsenal. And errr ourselves.
I guess it's a low bar but we were truly dire v likes of Fulham and Newcastle for most of the game so this has been an improvement against similar level of opposition.
At least we've had shots on target and some decent passages of play which have seemed near impossible for most of the last two months without Jack.
-
I think that first half typifies the different expectation levels of us on this site
Nobody is really right or wrong it’s just people have their bar set at different heights
It’s as simple as that really

McGinn's been poor this season for me. Luiz is too inconsistent and Watkins misses far too many chances
-
I’m too losing confidence in Smith, irrespective of what unfolds 2nd half.
-
At least we’ve tried to play some football, but it’s broken down a few too many times with the usual suspects at fault.
They’re going to have to try and go for it as the game goes on and they could leave space for us to exploit.
-
My real concern here is if they get the next goal.
They’re already hitting the deck at every opportunity and it will be Watford-esq if they get a lead.
-
Apart from Pereira who's obviously the best man on the pitch by several country miles, Baggies have offered the square root of fuck all. As usual, Villa get to the edge of the opponants' box with ease, but that's about it. Otherwise, I think we're doing OK. Barkley seems to be trying at least. But he's just not very good. McGinn's been sloppy, and I think Watkins flatters to deceive. Traore's a pain in the arse... But we knew all that. It's really not as bad as some seem to think... But then, I was a Happy Clapper under O'Neil (so they tell me!)
-
I think Traore has been woeful yet again. He frustrates the hell out of me. God knows what stick he would be getting if Villa Park was full.
-
We have really hit the glass ceiling, Dean dosent seem able to get anything else out of them, just a bit disappointing, come on Villa step it up a bit it’s very meh, at the moment
-
Sorry but I have been very passionate in my life when we play this lot, this game is passing me by.
They have looked more likely to score than us
Two soft penalties
Them hitting the bar and other set piece chances
Us faffing around and not looking like scoring
Agree with BC villian would not miss any of these apart from the defence and Watkins
-
I think Traore has been woeful yet again. He frustrates the hell out of me. God knows what stick he would be getting if Villa Park was full.
Loads. And it would make him worse.
-

I'm sorry to labour the point, but I completely disagree with this. That one-two with Konsa was sublime.

I think it's just who we're playing I think. They'll still get relegated but their 11 is much much stronger than what they put out v us in December and they've picked up up 7 points from last 5 games so really halfway up the form table we're at looking at in the Grealish less malaise we're in.
-
I’m getting a little pissed off with the smart arses who keep having a go at a few of us who are really fucked off with the last few months. This is a team full of international players who, at the moment, are wank. Forget about the bad old days, this team should be doing far better than this shite. These lads are paid a lot of money week in and week out to perform and many aren’t. If you happy with last three months then we are a championship side in 2022, I personally want progress.
-
Given far too many free kicks away in dangerous position, one they hit the bar and another put a header just wide. Albion are the team, who look more like scoring again.
-
I'm just finding it a bit, well, boring, game in game out now, to be honest. This one is just the latest, though I obviously hope that something happens for us to carve out a win.
-

a problem is there's 5 midfielders in our team today who aren't very good.

Form guide for the last ten games, the boggies are solidly mid-table now they're playing the Allardyce way. We're 17th...

We are progressing.

The thing I have been most critical of with Smith is that while nobody in their right mind would expect the same without Grealish but the drop off given the players we have should not have been this steep. We’ve gone from top 6 form to bottom 6. That’s not good enough.
-

Betting on Luiz to get carded is basically free money.

What I was trying to say in one line.
There was a gulf of quality between us in December, not so much now for various reasons.
Just got to take notes of the last few months and really focus on quality in this upcoming transfer window as I really think it shapes the next 3-4 seasons, it's that critical.
-

McGinn's been poor this season for me. Luiz is too inconsistent and Watkins misses far too many chances
Watkins works as hard as any striker we’ve had in about the last 20 years, and is still in with a shot of ending this season as our highest scorer in a single Premier League season. I’d like to know who we are supposed to sign to improve on him who isn’t going to cost north of 60 million quid. Luiz is 22 and is bound to be inconsistent at this stage in his career, but we’ve seen enough early in the season to think he can kick on.
McGinn is undoubtedly struggling at the moment, but again we’ve seen enough from him in the last 3 years that he deserves to not be written off.
-
We definitely need to buy an upgrade on McGinn in the summer. I know he's a fans' favourite, but he's been rubbish for ages.
-

As opposed to those of us who are hacked off at the doom and gloom merchants?
-
2-1 to them

Yup, it's been pretty even despite them missing a few sitters. They have a striker that looks pretty useful too but other than that, not much between the two sides and certainly better than some of the rubbish served up this year.
-

Of course not. And it's clear where our weaknesses are. I just don't think it's that bad. Certainly not compared to last season.
-
Sigh.
-
Bollocks
-
What a fucking farce. Absolute comedy.
-
FFS.
-
We all know missing JG is a big loss but he is still only ONE player. These are the same players that we all said were a joy to watch until the turn of the year when our form fell off a cliff.
-
Fuck me we’re rubbish.
-
Oh dear.
-
There we go
-
Not good enough
-
Sort it out Dean!
-
That’s a costly slip Ezri.
-
Oh dear. I put the kiss of death on Ez.
Shot might've been going wide aswell.
Big test for us now. We don't get many points from behind in games.
-
Awful.
-
Game over
-
I said I didn’t think we’d win again this season and so far it’s not looking very good.
-
Oh frak me...
-
Comedy of errors.
-
Why did we bother saving football.
-
Fucks sake
-
Shoot ourselves in the foot yet again
-
I don't think we're good enough, giuven the start we had, I just don't think it warrents the hysteria some are demonstrating... Yet!
It's not hysteria to express the view that we have been consistently poor for several months now.
-
Our midfield is wank
-
why didn't konsa just lauch it first time? :'(
-
More sloppy shit passing.
-
Simply dreadful
-
Cue 45 minutes of grade A shithousery
-
BCue Keinan Davis coming .......... in 25 minutes time.
-
She fell over.
-
There's still time everyone (she says unconvincingly)!
Several head in hands emojis...
-
This is actual proper relegation form now, with performances to match.
-
Fucking useless.
-
It’s getting embarrassing now how shit we are without grealish. This formation doesn’t work without him, smith is fucking clueless
-
I’d quite like to see Wesley up front with Watkins now. Could be too soon for him?
Our midfield is just too weak without Grealish
-
I don't think we're good enough, giuven the start we had, I just don't think it warrents the hysteria some are demonstrating... Yet!
It's not hysteria to express the view that we have been consistently poor for several months now.
I never said it was. In fact, I take the same view.
-
By absolutely any measure for a PL football manager with significant resources, this is inept.
-
That was so shit, so, so, fucking shit.
-
Sexual Ealing, not having a go at anyone personally, god forbid these days 😀. I just expect far more now from this team, we’re not Burnley, we have a right to demand more than the last 10 weeks of turgid toss. This is not a bunch of championship happy go lucky players anymore and survival plus should not be acceptable, this season was a top eight ready to pluck and looks like we couldn’t give a fuck, just sad.
-
Come on boys, don't force it.
-
Please bring this season to a close soon.
-
What was that pass from Luiz? Straight to a Boggy, shit bastard!
-
We haven't played well since boxing and that's unacceptable
-
Fucking angry now! Predicted this against a poor side, so many wankers being carried
-
BuggerBuggerBugger
-
Douglas Luiz is a nothing player. Adds nothing to the attack or the defence.
-
Jesus they are soft.
-
I think that first half typifies the different expectation levels of us on this site
Nobody is really right or wrong it’s just people have their bar set at different heights
It’s as simple as that really
What?
-
This is dirt. Too many strollers.
-
We look lost. No idea of how to break teams down (score) apart from punt in rubbish crosses.
-
This is actual proper relegation form now, with performances to match.
We are back to where we were pre Covid lockdown. No fucking clue what we are doing.
-
I'd hook Luiz
-
Let's be brutally honest, SJM has been garbage most of this season, too.
-
Do we ever thread a ball through to give Ollie a one on one ? I can’t remember the last one he had.
-
Bring back the super league
-
Nowhere near good enough since January
-
Can the season end now, just to save us from even more embarrassment and suffering?
-
Fuck me they’re taking the piss now.
-
This is total shite. Fucking useless.
-
That could easily have been another.
-
As much as I defended the first half this is pathetic.
-
This is actual proper relegation form now, with performances to match.
We are back to where we were pre Covid lockdown. No fucking clue what we are doing.
We're a complete mess but we have been for weeks.
-
Surely we are not going to lose to these
-
If next season starts like the last 4 months have gone there will be questions about changing the manager
-
Good grief we are truly, truly awful.
-
I know there is a place for sentimentality but if Dean Smith wasn’t a Villa fan surely we would all be unified after the last 4 months in saying he should be fired. Yes I get the progress from where we were but when I look at what we have become it fills me with very little hope or optimism that he is the man who should take us forward
-
Targett playing well here again.
-
As much as I defended the first half this is pathetic.
Agreed
-
Target having a go at least
-
Surely we are not going to lose to these
A team desperate for points. Don't score a lot and concede dozens. Up rock the Villa and we know how it goes....
-
They are showing far more hunger and desire than us
-
I know there is a place for sentimentality but if Dean Smith wasn’t a Villa fan surely we would all be unified after the last 4 months in saying he should be fired.
We wouldn't.
-
Who do you take off? It’s a lucky dip.
-
If next season starts like the last 4 months have gone there will be questions about changing the manager
If the defeats continue until the end of the season he won't make next season.
-
They are showing far more hunger and desire than us
They need it more than us. We have been on the beach for a while and get nosebleeds at the height of the top half.
-
I know there is a place for sentimentality but if Dean Smith wasn’t a Villa fan surely we would all be unified after the last 4 months in saying he should be fired.
We wouldn't.
We would though. The last few months has been shite.
-
Good play, unlucky.
-
How come Barclay has trouble doing even the basic things, given his talent? I know Bodymoor has turned many a player to shit over the years but never this quickly.
What was the injury he had? It looks almost like his back was injured and his legs just don't do what the brain tells them.
-
Maybe start packing up your personal effects now Dean, save a bit of time at the end of the season.
-
I know there is a place for sentimentality but if Dean Smith wasn’t a Villa fan surely we would all be unified after the last 4 months in saying he should be fired.
We wouldn't.
Why? Because we have accepted our place as subservient or mediocre infinitum? I bet a top side with a more ambitious board would have canned him already.
-
I really wish I wasn’t fucked off and exchanging messages with Sexual Ealing but genuinely think It’s time dean was fucked off after season ends as he isn’t good enough to get a tune out of these. Five games at start of next season max, we can’t fuck about anymore.
-
They are showing far more hunger and desire than us
Not surprising really, they're still hoping to stay up where as we are off to the beach in our flip flops.
-
Traore slows it down when it needs be speeded up and speeds up when he needs to slow it down.
-
So people happy with this? And the form since the new year?
-
I know there is a place for sentimentality but if Dean Smith wasn’t a Villa fan surely we would all be unified after the last 4 months in saying he should be fired.
We wouldn't.

-
Fuck!

Nah, replace him at the end of the season. Give the new bloke the transfer window to bring his own targets in.
-
Not good enough from any of them
-
Was a great save, absolute ripper of a volley.
-
For whatever reason, the 2nd half of the season has been more or less what we had to endure last season.
It’s nowhere near good enough given that we have all seen how these players can actually play earlier in the season.
-
If we are going to be doing things like spending 30m on a player, which we have, and having huge amounts invested by the owners, we need to be unsentimental.
We're inconsistent and unpredictable, but the fact we've now put together a run of half a season of uninterrupted dog shit is deeply concerning. Much of the last 16 or 17 games has been every bit as bad as last season. That's really worrying.
-
Super effort from Elmo
-
What a save from Johnstone there, AEM screamer.
-
Jesus, how many are we losing by? Are we three behind?
Ahem .....
-
That would have been a great goal if it had gone in.
-
Fucking hell. Good response the last 10.
-
If you are going to change the manager then now would be a good time. Time to rebuild before next season.
-
We've upped the tempo now. This is more like it.
-
Douglas Luiz is a nothing player. Adds nothing to the attack or the defence.
Sorry, but utter bollocks. He’s an out of form player, there’s a difference.
-
Fucking hell. Good response the last 10.
Yeah. Smith out.
-

Because he's hit all his targets.
You’re making my point beautifully. Thanks. Promotion because we became a Championship side. Stay up by the skin of our bollocks on the last day. Finish lower mid table in complete free fall since Christmas. If those are the targets we’ve dropped our standards and expectations as a club and fan base.
-

Accusing this board of lack of ambition is a bit harsh considering the money they've put in to date.
-
Subs now please
-
I am really struggling with this thread. I thought supporters meant you supported your team no matter what they are playing like. Just get behind your team you bastards
-
We've upped the tempo now. This is more like it.
It’s better but it should never have dropped so low to begin with. Anything looks better than that.
-
So people happy with this? And the form since the new year?
I doubt a single Villa fan on here is happy about our form
-
I know there is a place for sentimentality but if Dean Smith wasn’t a Villa fan surely we would all be unified after the last 4 months in saying he should be fired.
We wouldn't.
Why? Because we have accepted our place as subservient or mediocre infinitum? I bet a top side with a more ambitious board would have canned him already.
Ok.
-
I really wish I wasn’t fucked off and exchanging messages with Sexual Ealing but genuinely think It’s time dean was fucked off after season ends as he isn’t good enough to get a tune out of these. Five games at start of next season max, we can’t fuck about anymore.
Nah, replace him at the end of the season. Give the new bloke the transfer window to bring his own targets in.
Thank god you’re not making the decisions
-
I am really struggling with this thread. I thought supporters meant you supported your team no matter what they are playing like. Just get behind your team you bastards
Agree apart from calling us bastards. Let’s see this one out and hopefully get something out of it for some belief
-
I’d be surprised if his targets were “play like drains and deliver relegation form for half a season.”
-
It’s like we’re playing 10 men again, all the possession and none of the penetration.
-
93% of the ball haha
-

I'd be OK with replacing Dean if it was with a manager nailed on to do better, rather than just feeding more coins into the 'manager merry-go-round' fruit machine.
Can't see any candidates though, and if we get one or two quality players in over the summer, I think we'll kick on next year.
-
Traore....foot like a fifty pence piece.
-
A couple of mistakes aside, which have been costly, I actually think we look a bit better tonight. It’s just not quite right in midfield/the final ball -again.
-
I'd bring Samba on and go 1-0-9
-
Douglas Luiz is a nothing player. Adds nothing to the attack or the defence.
Sorry, but utter bollocks. He’s an out of form player, there’s a difference.
Why would you pick an out of form player?
-
We are very lightweight. Traore????
-
The better option there was Elmo.
-
A couple of mistakes aside, which have been costly, I actually think we look a bit better tonight. It’s just not quite right in midfield/the final ball -again.
I think we look pretty much bereft of confidence and creativity.
We so, so miss Jack.
-
Rubbish from Traore there with AEM to his right free.
We simply have too many players who mess up making stupid decisions constantly in final third.
Simply have to improve that in the summer.
-

Careful mate you don’t want to be too optimistic on here!
-
Second half been “better” but that is because they have knicked a goal and are simply content to to try and hit us on the break.
-
Thats right, let it drift along and do fuck all about Dean
-
Agree on the lack of confidence totally.
And a lack of ideas too.
This is exactly where we need Grealish.
-
I would be happy if at the end of the season the board said a massive thank you to him for all he’s done, a nice payout and sent him on his way. We will be forever grateful for the chapter he wrote in our history. We are safe again, he helped with that and we can use that as a launching point for the next phase of what our owners want. Because I’m sure what they don’t want is this shit again next year with another £100m of their money spunked away.
-
Traore....foot like a fifty pence piece.
There's a great footballer in there trying to get out but he's not trying hard enough.
-
I wish Elmo were 5 or 6 years younger.
-
We are wank. Never going to score.
-
Subs please. Ramsey now and Wesley with 15 to go
-
Fuck!
-
aint our day
-
That was shit Ollie.
-
Another good save from Johnston
-
Traore's not even his usual one trick pony tonight, total luxury in a game like this
-
I wish Elmo were 5 or 6 years younger.
I wish he was 5 or 6 years older 'cos he would have retired bless him.
-
aint our day
You spelt season incorrectly.
-
I hope I regret this but here goes.
Despite how much we love him, I just don't think McGinn is good enough.
-
Watkins doesn't look right.
-
Another good save from Johnston
straight at him
-
aint our day
Since December.
-
Good to see Dean using subs to change the game again.
-
Traore's not even his usual one trick pony tonight, total luxury in a game like this
He’s a terrible, terrible player.
-
Fuck!
For the sake of my health please desist
-
McGinn simply gives it away too much to ever be a regular in a top 6 team at this level.
That's the sort of issue we'll have to confront sooner or later.
Poor miss from Ollie.
-
Watkins. Meh.
-
We have some players who are never going to be good enough, but we have some others who plainly are good enough, and we know that because the manager got them playing for that period of 10-12 games where we picked up plenty of points and got some great results.
What we are seeing now is the same players failing to deliver for an extended period of time, and for me, that's the manager failing to get them producing. Missing Grealish is an absolute given, but whilst I see some players out there who aren't up to it, there are others who are just not getting managed very well.
-
aint our day
Since December.
This. Gone right off the boil.
-
Davis coming on. Would imagine for Traore.
-
Watkins. Meh.
Now I’ve really had enough, goodbye thread
-

They're realistic targets which we're going to hit. Yes, it's shite football at times but look at the last few years, it makes perfect sense to me to build steadily instead of lunging from one catastrophe to another. I mean, life under Tim Sherwood was exciting but...
-
Being hyper critical, Watkins takes a heavy touch and narrows his angle a tad too often.
-
McGinn simply gives it away too much to ever be a regular in a top 6 team at this level.
That's the sort of issue we'll have to confront sooner or later.
Yes, exactly, and it is going to be difficult because we all love him because of things in times gone by, but for me he's been one of our most persistent non-performers this season, one of the worst.
-
I hope I regret this but here goes.
Despite how much we love him, I just don't think McGinn is good enough.
I don't love him. He's done fuck all most of the season.
-
nearly gave them another one
-
Great save. Konsa having a funny one today.
-
SUBS NOW ffs
-
Somebody should remind El Ghazi he's a bloody attacking player. Mings brings the ball forward only for El Ghazi to play the easiest ball back to our defence. What is the bloody point?
-
Come on Dean, 20 minutes to change this around.
-
Only Targett getting above 5/10
-
Watkins. Meh.
Now I’ve really had enough, goodbye thread
bye.
-
This is horrible, hanging on against Albion FFS.
MAKE A CHANGE.
-
Jesus Christ! Changes please! NOW!
-
Good work again Targett.
-

I think people are just worried Grealish will move on sooner or later and we will be back to square one based on last two months.
He commits for one more season, we really need to have a real go in the summer even if some of them are more short term moves.
Lucky there. Struggled against their set pieces all game.
-
Their second now given as Mings og
-
Dean, do something!
-
We really want them in the Premier League by the look of this
-
Good work again Targett.
Contender for Player of the Year for me
-
Their right back has blocked pretty much every cross from Targett tonight, really good performance from whoever it is.
-
At last, a change?
-
I am trying to work how many times I’ve sat here this season, screaming “Make some changes NOW!” at the Tv.
-
Is anyone else getting pissed off with the suppressed glee from Richard Wilford and Bomber Brown on WM?
:'(
-
Not good enough
-
Jesus.
-
I think people are just worried Grealish will move on sooner or later and we will be back to square one based on last two months.
You're probably right.
-
can we have their no 12 ....
-
If it wasn't for our keeper we'd be 1-4 down at least by now.
-
Is anyone else getting pissed off with the suppressed glee from Richard Wilford and Bomber Brown on WM?
:'(
I’d rather listen to UB40 than WM
-
Martinez having to play like Dino zoff and Gordon Banks rolled into one.
-
CBS don’t look their assured selves - Konsa especially. Quite possibly his worst 90mins of the season.
Still think we’ll win this. Perriera aside, they’re shite.
-
Luiz off, Ramsey on.
-
Is there any excuse for this?
-
Unacceptable.
-
If it wasn't for our keeper we'd be 1-4 down at least by now.
Against a side that will be relegated. Thank fuck we aren’t in a scrap this year to stay up. We’d be done ages ago.
-
Is anyone else getting pissed off with the suppressed glee from Richard Wilford and Bomber Brown on WM?
5live not much better with bloody Clinton Morrison
:'(
-
With respect, and I'm sure there's a reason for it, I don't really know what that substitution does.
-
It is Albion v Martinez.
-
God, this is absolutely awful.
We look like we wouldn't score if we played till next Saturday. Zero creativity.
-
With respect, and I'm sure there's a reason for it, I don't really know what that substitution does.
Well maybe Ramsey will do better than Luiz
-
Hands up if your having fun
-
We are winning at getting corners.
-
With respect, and I'm sure there's a reason for it, I don't really know what that substitution does.
Agreed.
Smith out for me now 100%.
-
You have to wonder what's the point of having two strikers on the bench if you stilk haven't brought one on losing at home to absolute shite with ten minutes left.
-
I never thought I'd say it but I'd take the draw now.
-
I still think it will only take a couple of high quality signings to make a big difference next season.
-
With respect, and I'm sure there's a reason for it, I don't really know what that substitution does.
Rarely do his subs make tactical sense. They are all punts with the same kind of instructions we came to expect from Steve Bruce “have a good go lad”
-
Is anyone else getting pissed off with the suppressed glee from Richard Wilford and Bomber Brown on WM?
:'(
I’d rather listen to UB40 than WM
Steady on
-
Hands up if your having fun
Depends how high your bar is
-
I think people are just worried Grealish will move on sooner or later and we will be back to square one based on last two months.
You're probably right.
Yes. It seems we are rapidly regressing to last season's level - today clown car defence was back - and everyone is terrified that that is our actual level and the start of the season some never to be seen again flash in the pan.
West Brom deserve to be winning, because every time they do attack they can engineer a chance with ease. We find it so hard to even create half chances.
-
Would love to know what goes through Barkley's mind sometimes. Corners Albion defender and just pushes him over and is then amazed ref gives the free kick.
-
Hands up if your having fun
It’s either this or being told off by my wife for some unknown crime.
-
Even if we jammy a draw it doesn’t change a thing about today. It’s shit. No dressing it up.
-
we are dull
-
Come on boys, last 10, let's shake a leg and get back on this.
-
Keinan with his customary 6 minutes to impress
-
WTF was that McGinn?!
-
We need a goal so KD is coming on for Barkley. That will fix it
-
It's like, he can't take off McGinn, but he's clearly been worse than Doug today and plays a role more similar to Ramsay. I have no idea why you'd choose that substitution over the other one.
-
Davis on on 82 minutes.
Not sure what hadn't happened in the last 15 minutes to delay this.
-
Predictably shit again. These players are not that bad. Sorry Dean but not a tune for months...
-
Would love to know what goes through Barkley's mind sometimes. Corners Albion defender and just pushes him over and is then amazed ref gives the free kick.
Barkely's been OK tonight. His best game for 4 months. It doesn't really matter about the result now, but the performance is really poor since the first 10 minutes (which wasn't that great).
-
Barkley kicking the water bottle time.
Davis on.
-
Keinan gets all of 10 minutes.
-
if only he had a shot on him
-
Unlucky Davis.
-
We are winning at getting corners.
Only problem is we've been crap at corners for the last 10 years. To save time we should just give the opposition the goal kick.
-
I honestly don't understand why Guilbert is on loan in France, and doing very well, and a 63 year old AEM is playing tonight.
-
One a day KD will score a goal and shock us all
-
I think Barkley has been ok today too. With Grealish alongside him tonight... he’s ok. But like most of the time, needs that creativity and space that Grealish gives him
-
With respect, and I'm sure there's a reason for it, I don't really know what that substitution does.
Agreed.
Smith out for me now 100%.
Joke.
-
Utter shit
Barclay
Mcginn
Traore
Luiz
El ghazi
Just not good enough at this level
-
Keinan is never going to score a goal if he plays until he is 60. Useless.
-
Great touch for a big man as they say.
-
Lucky fucker
-
God almighty, this is utter utter dog shit.
-
All fart and no shit.
-
Well that’s it for me today, going to go and find something else to do. Can’t remember finding anything exciting this calendar year since going nuts at Louie Barry’s goal.
-
Fuck!!!
-
unlucky
-
On the beach my lord,on the beach...
-
FUCKING HELL KD off the post
-
Fuck!!!
off
-
One a day KD will score a goal and shock us all
Today is (almost) that day ;-)
-
That's so Davis.
How did we not score from that.
Last big chance probably.
-
?
-
All fart and no shit.
All shit and no fart.
-
KD should have been on 60th min
-
Unlucky, KD, the only 1 in 50 striker working in the PL.
-
Unlucky, KD, the only 1 in 50 striker working in the PL.
When was the one?
-
In a alternate reality KD scores 20 a season. Surely no other PL forward can have the combination of being shit and unlucky when it comes to attempting to score goals.
-
All fart and no shit.
All shit and no fart.
Just purely shit then?
-
Yeah, no.
-
He makes Heskey’s goal ratio look like Messi’s
-
Fat Sam (the Wolves fan) is gonna keep them up ain't he?
-
Fat Sam (the Wolves fan) is gonna keep them up ain't he?
Nah
-
Fat Sam (the Wolves fan) is gonna keep them up ain't he?
Nope.
-
Unlucky, KD, the only 1 in 50 striker working in the PL.
When was the one?
Pre season friendly v Sutton Coldfield Paper Boys XI
-
Fat Sam (the Wolves fan) is gonna keep them up ain't he?
No, left it too late. Good effort though.
-
20 attempts on goal and we have scored once vs West Brom
Great cross John FFS
-
DS needs to bring 4 kids on next game..
-
I think even the commentators are bored by the sound of it
-
Welcome back Wesley
-
Big Wes coming on
-
This team reminds me of the film Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The team from early season have been replaced by fuck knows what from fuck knows where.
-
Wesley gets 4 minutes
-
What is the fucking point bringing Wesley on on 89 minutes?
-
Great stuff Dean! Make a sub on 90. Run the clock down...
-
Great to see Wesley back
-
Wesley! Good lad, nice to see him back.
-
The script is written, welcome back Wes.
-
DS needs to bring 4 kids on next game..
He absolutely will not do that. It will be the same again next game
-
OMG KD
-
Get the fuck in!!!!
-
Davis 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
-
Fucking hell!
-
Davis scores
-

Does DS understand the sub rule?
-
The job is too big for Smith
-
That is bloody deserved!!
-
Down you go you Stripey fucking ******, get in. Kept going boys, well done, well deserved.
-
Sweet baby Jesus and the orphans.
-
Well done big Keinan.
-
Fucking get in. Brilliant.
-
Thank fuck Albion are utter utter shit
-
over the moon for him
-
Wesley gets 4 minutes
Which is good, the mental impact of being back on the pitch for the first team its the benefit here, and if he gets anything then it's a bonus.
Get the fuck in there Davis.
-
Eat my shorts!
-
KEINAN!!!!!!
GET THE FUCK IN!!
-
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Get in Kienan.
-
Unlucky, KD, the only 1 in 50 striker working in the PL.
When was the one?
Today!!!!!!!
Now.we just need a Wesley winner
-
Shit performance by us but that's a real pisser for the bogies haha
-
Daviiiiiiiis
-
Get in Keinan.
-
Plaster on a wound, but there’s 2 things I’m bloody chuffed about.
1/ Wesley is back!
2/ Davis scores!
-
Fantastic point! Dean's game plan was inspired.
-
Come on boys, fucking bury them
-
Good fucking poaching there
-
KD - well done mate. May the floodgates open for you!!!!
-
Ooooooh a Wesley header. The leg injury improved his heading
-
Mother of god
-
Fat Sam (the Wolves fan) is gonna keep them up ain't he?
Nah
Hahaha! Well predicted!
-
YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!
-
Keinan is never going to score a goal if he plays until he is 60. Useless.
He’s now 60
-
FT
-
Yippeeee!!
-
2-2 FT
-
Hahaha fuck off you fat Yam Yam
-
Should have gone with the big 3 up front from half time.
-
Well done Keinan. Was really bright. Any chance of a start Dean?
-
Got out of jail there
-
Brazilian lads tapping their best player up
-
Keinan is never going to score a goal if he plays until he is 60. Useless.
He’s now 60
I look forward to his next ten goals. If I live that long.
-
Well done Keinan. Was really bright. Any chance of a start Dean?
Thought Davis was good
-
Why does Smith leave it so late to use subs
-
Wesley did well with a header too, which shocked me.
Best way to earn a point. All over now you Stripey wankers hahahahahaha
-
Well done Keinan. He didn't know how to celebrate bless him, its been so long.
-
I expect that feels like a defeat for both sides.
-
Got out of jail there
We really didn't, we had 24 shots and 11 of them on target, if anything we should've scored more.
