Been battered for last ten mins but some think it’s fine, I personally think it’s disgraceful and far too many players on the beach. Smith should be given no more than six games next season to show he’s upto the challenge of getting us in top 8 and if not, bye.

I hate watching this Villa side. Huge rebuilding required.

Corner. Not that it will be of any use.

We need to be more patient. It looks a little rushed at times.

Boggies will be massively encouraged for the second half.
We have got to lift our game. This is all far too scrappy and they are coming out on top.

Takes all sorts I suppose, but I think we've been the better side, far more menacing and we've been much slicker in our approach work. Final ball not there. Need to avoid set pieces ad they have 1 player capable from open play. Never a penalty for them, and ours was about as soft as they come.

I like Targett on the corners, he's got the right idea at least.

The biggest problem is that we don't have a pattern of play to create chances. Every player who gets the ball has to stop and think what to, rather than there being the muscle memory passes because they know player A is going to position B etc.

You can see that West Brom are a poor team. The tragedy is that we don't look any better. Sloppy passing, error strewn.... Disappointing.

Disappointing half. They can count themselves unlucky to not winning.
