They are showing far more hunger and desire than us

Not surprising really, they're still hoping to stay up where as we are off to the beach in our flip flops.

I know there is a place for sentimentality but if Dean Smith wasn’t a Villa fan surely we would all be unified after the last 4 months in saying he should be fired.

We wouldn't.

Why? Because we have accepted our place as subservient or mediocre infinitum? I bet a top side with a more ambitious board would have canned him already.

Because he's hit all his targets.

I really wish I wasn’t fucked off and exchanging messages with Sexual Ealing but genuinely think It’s time dean was fucked off after season ends as he isn’t good enough to get a tune out of these. Five games at start of next season max, we can’t fuck about anymore.

Nah, replace him at the end of the season. Give the new bloke the transfer window to bring his own targets in.

For whatever reason, the 2nd half of the season has been more or less what we had to endure last season.

It’s nowhere near good enough given that we have all seen how these players can actually play earlier in the season.

If we are going to be doing things like spending 30m on a player, which we have, and having huge amounts invested by the owners, we need to be unsentimental.

We're inconsistent and unpredictable, but the fact we've now put together a run of half a season of uninterrupted dog shit is deeply concerning. Much of the last 16 or 17 games has been every bit as bad as last season. That's really worrying.

That would have been a great goal if it had gone in.
