FWIW I always had him down as quick but didn’t think he could drop into that inside channel (like Morgan/Mcginn) however that video showed him popping up there quite often.  Also pleasing to see him use both feet.  Workrate is still at large.

Chatting to a couple of Chelsea ST holders and some match going Man U fans in the pub last night
To my surprise every one of them said Garnacho was a good player and we’re sorry when he left

The Chelsea fan liked him a lot but said he wasn’t great defensively

There is also evidence of him tracking back and doing his bit defensively. In the right environment I think we will see him do all of that.

Yep I think those things are down to good coaching as much as anything else

Absolutely. We seen how Sancho got the brickbats for not doing it, the same will apply to him. I honestly don’t see lack of effort on his part being an issue once he gets the culture of the club.

I’m 45 miles north of London and 160 miles away from Manchester so obviously packed with man utd fans and London teams

He was tracking back and tackling in the corners with his supposed terrible attitude playing for two clubs that seemed to make him a scapegoat for their numerous issues. So you’re right, put him with a top manager, coaches and a positive club and team environment and he could succeed with the right application.

He should certainly be well motivated. If he doesn't make it here, the tabloids will deem him to have failed at three Prem clubs which could damage his future prospects.

Like others on here, I'd back SUE to sort him out.

Yep, that's got to be a motivating factor, for sure.  Look at Sancho (who did perfectly okay for us last year, not brilliant, not terrible, and he contributed to a trophy win). He's now available on a free transfer and looks like he might be going to Saudi as no one in a competitive league is willing to take a punt on him after 3 premier league clubs decided they didn't want him.  Clearly very talented, but talent alone often isn't enough.
