For those who have watched him closely, what's his technique like? I assumed pretty good but that Yanited presenter on Talksport (not the carpethead, younger black dude) said it was sub-par.
Will be a willing runner when we have the ball, but not great at tracking back. He has incredible pace but his 1v1 skills have been just okay and his final ball isn't great but he had the 2nd most progressive dribbles in the league last season behind Doku. All things that Unai will be able to fix. In 23-24 he had 17 goal involvements at 20 years old in the league, cups and CL so he's done it before. He will drive the ball into the final third and directly at goal.
Big attributes will be staying wide left until the final third and cutting in on his right, his pace will pin opposing RBs down like he did to Cash when we played Chelsea, and most of all he's rarely unavailable through injury (or discipline).
This signing is going to work.
