It's all relative anyway and fan opinion is beyond fickle.

People wanted Ollies head last year numerous times, demanding that we need to make the striker role a priority going forward.
Same with Rogers. Match threads where full of people saying 80m would be an absolute steal and we should ship him off first decent offer that comes up.

We all knew he was great, then inexplicably awful under Gerard. Wasn’t rocket science to see where the issue lay.

Ah well, we are stuck with Garnacho now it seems, so let’s see if Emery can manage his tantrums ( he may well mature fingers crossed )

Here's a little highlights reel. Including footage from last season. This is the sort of play we wanted to see from Bailey, Guessand and Sancho.

That's a bloody good highlights reel tbf.  Right-footed but comfortable on his left.  Can hug the touchline or tuck in.  If we can coax these sorts of performances out of him I think people will forgive his hair and occasional petulance.

Appreciate Bailey and Guessand's highlight reels will also look decent, but trying to look on the bright side.

It’s twofold with Unai, improves the player, but the system helps massively too. It’s why new signings often need months of brainwashing before they click.
