But neither club had been exactly stable, have they?

The latest winger renovation project. Hope he’s more Rashford than Sancho.

Looks like it’s done. I’m ok with it as long as we
Keep bringing on other. He always causes us trouble. If Emery is ok with it. So am I .

The latest winger renovation project.

Just get Leweling-Bowen, and we'll be fine.

Apparently Unai want's this one personally and that is good enough for me.

Same way he wanted Joao Felix, Paqueta and Sancho?

He's clearly close to genius at what he can get out of the raw materials available. But someone needs to help him in the raw materials dept.

I don’t even think Rashford was all that. Admittedly he was very good in a handful of games.

At the time that Alejandro was the Man Utd wonder kid, my class got a new goldfish.  The naming process went to a vote and the boy-dominated, red-supporting  cohort chose Garnacho. Such is democracy.

I'm not sure this adds much to the discussion, other than being fact rather than speculation.
I don’t suppose the goldfish got transferred to a Villa-supporting class, did it? If so, how did it do there?

Garnacho is undeniably talented - but seems to be poison.

If Emi Martinez is staying, maybe he and the other Emi can take him under their wings and keep him under control.
Are you saying groom him?☺️

We can not keep Unai running The Repair Shop. We need to give him some box fresh stuff.

Last person to try help/challenge Emery on recruitment was bounced out the door. No doubt for me that was real story behind the Elliot debacle. History written by winners of which undoubtedly Emery is one. But that doesn't mean decisions can't be challenged.  Garnacho just seems like a risk we don't need to take.

There was little excuse for signing that fraud Sancho either but we were stuck in a last minute trolley dash situation that Steve Bruce would have loved. These loans, obligations etc, I'm not sure why we should be back in that place. Lindelof was at least given a contract and a show of faith in him. In all honesty this seems like another case of two clubs helping each other out to get around SCR/PSR/MMR

It doesn’t really. It sounds more like us being interested in the player, but unsure on where his head is at, and using a loan as a test.

I don’t always agree with everything you say but this bot is bang on IMO. I think reason we got more out of Chelsea than Arsenal would have given us is because of his two clubs have helped each other with FFP issues and this Rogers/Garnacho stuff is the latest example.

That’s not very smart as SCR compliance for UEFA is a major issue.

I'm less than enthused, but given Emery wants him, he needs to be given what he wants. I'd hope it's not the only wider player we sign, mind.
