I honestly wouldn't mind a flyer on Garnacho. He's talented enough and one good season could see us sell him for a decent fee.

One other thing that should be mentioned is that the list of managers he's had to work under is absolutely pathetic. I think Unai could certainly help him mature and improve. Calum McFarlane, Liam Rosenior, Enzo Maresca, Ruben Amorim, Ruud van Nistlerooy, ETH, Mark Dempsey.. shudders. Too many frauds for a young player to go through so quickly.

Depending on the financials, it may not be that bad of a shout.

I think the issue is that Unai thinks he can get him playing to a good standard- however he thought the same of Sancho - the signing will happen let’s hope Unai works his magic

𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓: Last season for Chelsea, Alejandro Garnacho played some part in 43 games in all competitions.

In the games he started, Chelsea's win percentage was 72.7% (22 starts) while in the games he didn't start (21 times), their win percentage dropped to 23.8%.

As long as this isn't the marquee wide player signing then I don't mind it too much.

Apparently Unai want's this one personally and that is good enough for me.

Same here.

It sounds like we are still looking at Mbaye and others.

As someone who doesn’t read tabloids or football gossip, where do all the “disruptive” stories come from?

Are these things openly discussed in reliable media?

If this goes through as expected I hope he’s worth $42M by the end of it.

He fell out with the Man U fans and gave them some back, I think.

I read there was a video of him being verbally abused while signing autographs for them, too?

Garnacho is undeniably talented - but seems to be poison.

If Emi Martinez is staying, maybe he and the other Emi can take him under their wings and keep him under control.

Apparently Jhon Dhuran was an a hole, but Unai has been the only manager so far to get the best out of him.

Emery likes a testing project, I'll give him that.

Lots of understandable reservations but he's a very decent player on his day. I think a loan is worth the risk.
