Well, this isn't exactly filling me with the true spirit of Christmas. Ah well. Hope I'm wrong.

He’s a very talented player. It’s all the other stuff I’m concerned about. I suppose being Argentinian and having the Emi’s on board might help.

He’s pacey. I’m trying to think of positives

Dogtanian will possibly approve his hair..erm..

But does he wash his arse in the shower? We need to know

I will go against the grain and say I think this will be an excellent addition.

I'm fine with it.

The presence of the thread and the potential signing.

Sancho was crap, Garny has the potential be a big asset, or just a big asshole.

;D I shall leave that to the judgement of his new team mates!

Bit worried that UEFA will do somersaults to make sure this one bites us on the Rogers valuation.

There are clear rules on it re: the conditions of the loan. They have to be difficult to meet for it to be considered a loan rather than a permanent transfer.

Does this make some sort of Harvey Elliot-style clusterfuck more likely?

Less. He’d have more games to play to make it permanent.

Ta.

In terms of talent Sancho isn’t remotely close to being what Garnacho is. Or could be. He just needs to improve his attitude and behaviour. The off the field social media bollocks too. Settle down and be a great footballer.

Apparently Unai want's this one personally and that is good enough for me.

Really? I thought J-Dawg was the most talented in his age group. It's his shite application that the problem is.

I have to say, he wouldn't be my choice. However, I've never really understood why he always gets booked by opposition supporters.

Doesn't seem close enough to warrant a thread yet to me. Other clubs interested and no suggestion of player agreement.

It’s a discussion thread because it’s being discussed now at an advanced stage. That’s all.

I know, but personal opinion is that the forum gets too cluttered if we have lots of these threads set up and I prefer to keep discussion to the actual transfer discussion thread unless a signing is imminent or, better still, confirmed.

Perhaps we need another thread. “The should we start a new thread, thread” so that actual threads don’t get bogged down in discussions about whether we should start a new thread.
