Prefereably in different cities as well. Four of them would be in London with three all being in the North/East of London which would cause some issues.

Wembley, Villa, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sunderland is 6 for starters, 7 if they used a second London stadium. And a couple of other clubs would probably expand.

I thought Liverpool didn't qualify because of the size of the grass area? And unless Sunderland is expanding, it isn't 50k + at the moment.

Realistically it would be done with the rest of the UK and probably Ireland too these days, which would add at least another four.

So while England probably could host the whole thing alone, they wouldn't.

My issue with a UK bid is having 3 extra countries auto qualify because they have one stadium in use. Doesn't really feel right for me.

Sunderland is designed for fairly easy stadium expansion. It's reckoned they could go to over 60k without any issues.

They ripped up the rulebook around this when they gave it to Qatar as far as I'm concerned. London could handle it.

Italy can't even host the Euros. They are co-hosting Euro 2032 with Türkiye and are still panicking they won't have enough stadiums, the skint pricks.
