Watching World Cup Breakfast on Sky. At the break they had a distorted picture of a footballer during a game and the question was “who scored this iconic World Cup goal?”

The answer was Joe Cole against Sweden in 2006. I have no memory of it at all. Iconic? The bar is low in England.

As a counter-argument, I reckon I can remember that one more than any other England World Cup goal in the last twenty years. It was brilliant.

Yeah, my memory is terrible and it's one of the few England goals I really remember.

At least Saka isn't playing. Let's see if Madueke can cross a ball or even pass to another English shirt. You can understand dropping Rogers when nobody passes the ball to him.
