So what do you wear?

Not jeans, surely? I can't picture a ginger in jeans.

Of course, although it's only recently that the government brought in legislation to allow us to do so. We're still banned from wearing orange tops though.

Argh, please tell me not faded blue, at least?

Faded blue jeans with orange hair is just an unacceptable assault on the senses.

Don't you worry now, I'm pretty sure I'll be fine..

You don't own any chinos?

You do defy my expectations.

God no, I've never owned a pair of chinos. Few phrases strike dread into my heart like 'business casual'.

So what do you wear?

Not jeans, surely? I can't picture a ginger in jeans.

I used to wear chinos and button down Polo shirts when I lived in Wichita, KS in the mid 1990's.

The reason?  I hate clothes shopping and in pre-internet times, I found that I could drive to the East Town Mall(Buick Regal GS and then Pontiac Firebird Formula, thanks for asking)  and park at a store called Dillards and be in and out within 5 minutes because I knew where these items were located.

True story.

You say that, but my mind sees Conan O'Brien in a Bryan Adams tuxedo and I fear for you.

Oh I empathise completely.

My main consideration when buying clothes is 'how far are the men's clothes from the aisles that contain shit I actually need?'

If I'm in the fruit aisle and spot a shirt I don't hate, I'll buy all the XLs they have.

I'm in the cleaning products aisle? 'Oh, I see some trousers, just get a few waist 32s, 34s, 36s, I don't know what I currently am, let's just go and we can return the ones that don't fit'.

I’ve never understood the appeal of Jeans. Heavy, hot and uncomfortable.

My Dad would agree with you. Mom bought him a pair in the 60s. He wasn't impressed.

Hello Rory, you are here early tonight?

No stalling Aftab, I'm just here to see that knitted polo that BV mentioned.

You're a suave gent, you must own a few, yourself.
I must admit I have lot of polo tops in all sorts of different mats.

Oh I love polo shirts, and have about 20 (all unbranded Asda/Tesco stuff).

Just never encountered a knitted one.
The important thing here is non branded from the famous book, “Real men are confident enough to wear labels on the inside of their clothes”

Well, I think things can say a lot about you, it’s not solely down to comfort or convenience.

If you had three guys stood in front of you, one in joggers/trackies, one in jeans, and another in chinos or trousers, you’d get a different impression from each of them.

Jogging bottoms should be banned unless only worn indoors.
