Fair play to Ghana, they stuck to their game plan and frustrated us.

With the Pickford incident and then the Konsa incident, I think England were lucky to get a draw out of that.

Konsa was really poor tonight. That tackle was crazy and thought he was the one who played Ghana onside for Pickford's incident. Distribution really poor throughout.

James in particular and Rice seem flat.

No that was James who was intially 4 yards behind Konsa and Guehi and playing the guy onside, so Konsa then had drop as well and try to run with the attacker who was faster.

If Gordon and Madueke start Saturday, I’ll eat my hat.
Rubbish the pair of them but Gordon in particular, was woeful.

How England could have done with Pau Torres!
Indeed.

How England could do with a Pau Torres type at the back.

Seeing it now more times and Konsa was lucky, although without it then it was probably a goal. So stopping the goal and it not being called was brilliant defending. ;p

Rashford, Saka and Rogers to start against Panama. I keep hearing Bellingham is world class but just don't see it. Difficult to see how Watkins will get any minutes, unless Kane gets injured. The manager simply swaps out the wingers and no 10.

They were both shit, but the shittest was Bellingham who was largely anonymous apart from running the ball out of play for a goal kick, nearly getting carded, and then behaving like a brat at the HT whistle. This is the guy who we were told is England’s lightning rod for play but I’m not sure he has that mentality.

It is remarkable Gordon has been signed by Barcelona. Actual Barcelona.

I thought Konsa was fine. Pretty bizarre but predictable take to say he was poor.

They keep talking about lack of creativity like we have no-one there, but Rogers is. I thought he looked decent in the little bits he had.

I reckon England will win pretty comfortably tonight. Then we'll draw 0-0 against Ghana. Smash Panama. Straightforward 2-0 win in R32. Quarter-final defeat.

Still a few games left on the nailed-on betting money train...

It's all about his pressing, apparently, from people who know what Flick is all about. It does seem mad, though.

He did two things in twenty minutes. Not sure he even had a touch between winning a corner just after coming on and that lovely run and pass to Rashford in injury time.

What's happening in R16? Win on pens?

Pretty sure Rooney wasn’t saying what a difficult game it was before kick off!
