England would play Portugal? Not that bunch of twats.

England will play third place from that group, and after one game Portugal are third on number of yellow cards received, with games against Colombia and Uzbekistan to come.

I'd still be pretty surprised if it's not England against Doctor Congo in the next round.

I thought Ivory Coast deserved at least a draw from that. Guessand actually looked decent when he came on, much better than he did for us anyway! Hopefully it helps us sell him.

I really want Liverpool to splash out £100 million on Diomande.

Currently yes. If the team in 3rd place in group K qualifies, we get that team. If group K team does not get top 8 then we get another, mostly Group I.

Did Laura Woods just say 'Three Brits and a Scot'? So Scots aren't proper British? Nice bit of casual racism, Laura. :(

For anyone wanting to figure out who could play who throughout the tournament, someone shared this previously and I really like it. It's simple and clean.

Do we put Lindelof out to pasture after that game? Hold off putting a bid in for Bergvall too even if he only came on when the damage was done.

Japan - Tunisia go down as the first game of the tournament without a single match post?

Japan moves for their goals were excellent. Tunisia looked all at sea.

Guessing Curacão GK was MOTM.

Did he get the record for most saves in a World Cup match? I heard it was Tim Howard's solely before.

With CD temporarily off the board, not many others are up 24/7 on here.

Given the kick-off time, I was expecting Rory to step up to the plate, but he was probably busy on Tinder.

I wonder whether Tinder's a bit mainstream for Rory.
