This is an article on how Rwanda has tried to change from the civil war ravaged nation that saw such a devastating genocide in the mid 90’s. It’s going to be hard to move past that but it appears they are trying. This doesn’t change my position on the sponsor on the shirt or that Rwanda doesn’t need to be promoted in a sports washing kind of way. But the country has tried to evolve.

I wanted Spunk on my chest and Black Cock on the sleeves...oh well, there's always next season.

Presumably Big Black Dick didn't have the financial resources to match the Betano offer.

The shirt design has been divisive enough as it is…this announcement makes it even more polarising. Unless they keep selling a sponsor free version of the kit, then shirt sales are bound to be impacted.

I bet we sell more than we ever have this season.

I''ll be disappointed if we're not the biggest club in Kigali after this season.

Yeah that's not going to be a classic Villa kit.

I had my heart set on it being Um Bongo.

 :(

Can you imagine the possibilities of McGinn and Martinez gamboling round the jungle in the adverts? A chance to make history, GONE.

You would of thought Villa looked long and hard at that because who's not getting their lips around Big Black Dick these days.

"Supporters who have already purchased the 2026/27 home shirt in-store and online, and wish to have Visit Rwanda’s branding on the front, can take their shirts into the Aston Villa stores at Villa Park and the Bullring to have this applied free of charge."

Bollocks will we.

Has anyone got the details of that guy who removes sponsors from footie shirts?

Yep. Shit just got shitter! Just a few weeks after being as proud as can be of our club, I'm now ashamed of it.

There's a guy on YouTube that walks you through how to do it yourself, if you're brave enough. I would imagine it's going to be difficult for parents to talk kids out of having a new shirt this season, without having to go through the ins and outs of authoritarian states, so this might be the next best option.

Shocking decision, club have let themselves down badly, and not even for a particularly special deal.
