They haven't announced it, yet. I'd imagine it'll be all over the club's website and social media once the do. Sponsors aren't paying for "low key".

It’s come out through Townley in the Brum Mail. That’s not the usual way to make the first announcement. It’s low key and controlled deliberately!

Townley nicked it from Tanswell.

There you go then. Favoured journo of choice!

I wanted Spunk on my chest and Black Cock on the sleeves...oh well, there's always next season.

There's always this weekend too

Townley is just copying the Athletic. It hasn't been announced until the club announce it.

Leaked to soften the impact.

I take it that when you worked with David Cameron, it wasn't when he was in PR?!

Th ones who were waving around the AVFC Stop The Boats flag were clearly ahead of their time.

I usually wait until Xmas to get my kids their shirts. I might have to buy them now instead. I cannot allow them to walk around the streets of Beckenham with Visit Rwanda on their chests.

If you buy them now you're rewarding the club for their choice.

Trying to remember the Campbell quote in the Kelly affair about getting the name out there!

But if I don’t keep my kids attired in Villa gear they could easily slide into supporting Palace

What a couple of days. The wonderfully positive news of possibly signing a top talent in Manzambi, to the machine gun style bollock kicking of losing Tielemans, Digne and now this.

I cannot believe for one moment there aren't any better options out there, we're picking up the Gooners scraps here :-(

Ach.

I felt pretty hollow after the very weak response off someone at VP, tempted to quote it but won’t, but I did respond (when I got conf of the images around VP) about maybe it was too late.

I’d naively hoped things going quiet might have been a positive but too right, where on earth is our line?

I simply don’t have the capacity to organise something like https://www.gunnersforpeace.co.uk/
But I truly hope someone does, it’s the very least we should be doing to speak up about this.

I’m sure you’ll be aware TV it’s not just a country positively promoting itself getting back on track, is a Govt that denies its own history, it’s actual genocide (both sides committed well documented atrocities), the violently, tortuously (is that a word) murderously going for anyone that dares speak the truth. I could go on for pages but it’s all out there. None of this stuff is hidden.

It’s using the good (well I used to think so, famous at least) name of our club to sportswash current atrocities that’s the issue, and that’s without even considering their recent foreign policy.

I had a missed call from my friend tortured by the current regime a couple of days ago, we need to catch up. I still worry about him if we don’t speak in a while due to Kagame’s commandos overseas etc.

There was a possible Beeb radio thing on him in the pipeline, hadn’t really envisaged Vila podcasts…

Well the publicity interviews when the documentary film finally gets finished, am just messaging the director now…this will be opportunity. And response.

Sounds like completion spring/summer 27.

Was just processing losing much loved players but this is a different order of stuff.
