It's actually a complete fucking copout to say we have to because of the rules. We could actually still stand for something as a club rather than continually make it clear we don't give a fuck about anything other than money.

Hopefully makes this terrible shirt even more forgettable and we don’t repeat this all claret nonsense in future!

No matter who the company is, every sponsor ruins a football shirt, regardless.

I'm very old but I don't care.

Exactly this (apart from the Very Old... Just old lol). The very reason I brought the shirt on release was to get it before it was ruined with a sponsor

Also this is a v low key announcement and gives the aura of a good week to bury bad news following Tielemans and Digne.

They haven't announced it, yet. I'd imagine it'll be all over the club's website and social media once they do. Sponsors aren't paying for "low key".

I'm not sure organisations paying £20m for exposure are all that keen on low-key, buried news.

What a time to be alive. Unlike all the Rwandans that were slaughtered.

It’s come out through Townley in the Brum Mail. That’s not the usual way to make the first announcement. It’s low key and controlled deliberately!

Townley nicked it from Tanswell.

Townley is just copying the Athletic. It hasn't been announced until the club announce it.
