I was just thinking an extra 5 quid on 37,000 cup tickets would have funded maybe a 30 quid decrease on the general admission CL tickets (as with reduced capacity there will only be 3 or 4k of those. The club still looks good with cheap domestic cup game prices, but loses the negative headlines about £100 CL tickets.But I guess they want to keep the precedent of premium prices for CL games going forward.
