I like the 23 game option. All done and dusted.
Same.
And spreading the cost helps massively, but I can imagine a fair few may struggle.

This is what we're up against

If we sold out every Prem and ECL game next season at £100 a ticket we'd earn:

23x 100 x 37,000 =£85.1m

ManU have announced a new training kit sponsorship deal worth £20m

So they'll earn roughly 25% of our £85.1m for a a name on their training kit.

Us and them
And after all, we're only ordinary men...

Dark Side of the Moon. Nice.

Can't help having a feeling of unease about this one.

Since the summer of 2021, to have a season ticket in the Lower Holte centre has gone from £575 per season to just over £900 now. At this rate it'll be over a grand by the summer of 2028.

If you keep having inflation busting rises every season, is it really a suitable enducement to the people that they'll need to eventually fill a 52k seater stadium? They've got a chance at the moment, but when Unai leaves us (hopefully not for another decade at least), if they botch his replacement it could spell disaster.

Keep putting the prices up as they are will only be work as long as the team are doing well. As soon as they ain't the whole house of cards will start to shake.
I agree. Im in lower holte, zone 4 so cheapest seats, but still that rise for me and my lad over the last 7/8 years is wow! Im sitting in the sun drinking west country cider, so nothing seems too bad, and Ill find a way to pay, but what looks like a 166 a month bill, is getting harder. The prices are never going to drop now either.

Does anyone know what % increase the Redscouse tried to implement on their STs before the fan groups got it recinded?

Slightly complicated as it was over three years with a 3% rise in the first year + up to 5% in each of the next two. Supporters groups calculated this could add up to a combined 13% increase over the three years. This is why they chose the 13th minute for the protest

For some reason I've got visions of a bluenose using their fingers and thumbs to work that out and being stumped at being a digit short.

Scouse supporters group are not very smart because it’s a bit more than 13%.

It’s a piss take that they are putting them up again to be honest. Especially as to the club it’ll generate very little but to a large number of individuals it’s massive.

As was said elsewhere, finishing fourth instead of fifth more than covers the rise.

The greatest trick the devil ever played is getting football fans to think these kind of price rises and prices are acceptable.

Getting a Championship club to take Louis Barry in the window will more than cover the extra ticket price revenue….

That's a dynamic which is present in thousands of different industries, with thousands of different products.

Football tickets are hugely price inelastic.

It isn't a trick at all, it is just basic economics.

It doesn’t work like that though. An organisation such as ours has budgets for every area of it. We need to bring in x from Season Tickets, x from sales, x from catering etc.

Prices are a piss take as clubs at every level screw every single penny they can out of walking wallets.
