Did anyone else see the lone brave bluenose walking through Victoria Sq with his rags top on, around 4.30?
He received a good round of boos but it was all light hearted!

Probably went home and got changed and miles out of his way to do that. It's who they are, fucking deranged.

Every village....
Told you lot don't go into town it's too dangerous,he be down the Roost telling his mates and offered free beer for life, what a geezer

Can you imagine the outcome if that was the other around?

I'd hate it I must confess but equally I'd ignore it. The fact they are incandescent with rage that the library was lit up in our colours is just mad - what do they expect when a team from Birmingham wins something?

Spot on Nev. Their mass delusion of tropes about Villa means they can’t quite come to terms with the fact we’re a Birmingham club with a predominantly Brummie fanbase. It’s really quite hilarious. And I say this as a shire dwelling non Brummie.

I noticed a few in Arse shirts but they might have just been walking around with them anyway after Tuesday oblivious to the parade going to happen.

They’ll save a few bob too as those light bulbs (or whatever luminary device) will be used again and again. There’ll be no need to buy any different coloured either.

Residents in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter have described short-notice parking restrictions ahead of Aston Villa's victory parade as "a slap in the face".

Thursday's parade took place less than 24 hours after the team won the Europa League with a 3-0 thrashing of German side Freiberg.

However, with several roads closed along the Villa parade route, some residents said they woke up on Thursday to find Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) on their cars, or in some cases their vehicles towed.

I did notice that quite a few cars were being slapped with them on Ryland Street section at 730ish yesterday morning.

They were all cancelled but that doesn't make such a good story.

It says that in the article but doesn't make up for finding your car has been towed and it happening in the first place.

Great scenes yesterday - I started in the JQ, made the poor decision to wear a jacket and had the sun burning a hole in me whilst waiting about 45 minutes for them to turn up.

Then followed them down Sandpits, before nipping down the canal to get to Broad Street.  Unfortunately, couldn't get to Centenary Square as it was packed, but could hear Unai and SJM's speeches.

Not sure what the Official Figures were, but if there were 20k in Centenary Square, there must have been a similar amount again lining the streets along the route.  That's incredible given the short notice, it being on a work day and loads of fans still in Istanbul or travelling.

Good to see lots of kids too, it's days like this that cements the loyalty that will keep them with the club for the next 70-80 years.
