He's a fantastic manager it's ridiculous to claim otherwise. However he made football almost so perfect that it was actually boring to a lot of neutrals.

Agreed to a point. He made the game far too robotic at times. Awful to watch. The transition play could be incredible. What I always found interesting is that other clubs didn’t have the top players to carry it out as his teams. The amount of teams and players, including us who got caught playing it out from the back. It’s great when it works as we saw almost to perfection had Emi scored. But a nightmare when it doesn’t.

It’s the fact that he has maintained this veneer of innocence regarding the charges.
He knows that they refused to co-operate with the PL and before that UEFA.
So if we are to credit him with the intelligence so endowed by others then it’s pretty obvious that he has chosen to ignore all the evidence to maintain this position of collective innocence.
If he said this is nothing to do with me and I am not going to comment, then fair enough but he has gone a lot further than that and is without doubt part of the subterfuge.
So Mr Walnuts description seems appropriate.
