Can see Foden starting and doing well and all the newspapers bemoaning him being left out the squad then.

Or a knee-high challenge on Rogers as he bids to become a last-minute injury replacement?

(this is a joke, obviously)

This is a low.

Unai Emery smiled at his press conference when asked about his starting XI for Sunday.

“ I will try to be serious and get the best starting XI respecting the competition, but it’s not easy….Sorry but it’s not easy.”

Good good.

I reckon at least four of our players will be wearing sombreros.

Hahaha! That makes me nostalgic for the days of having a real job when, having had a post-work mad one on the Thursday, everyone wordlessly agrees to do nothing all day except for a three-hour liquid lunch.

God, it was tough back then.

Howling reading this. I don't know if we'll be seeing our captain start the game somehow. Perhaps some of the muslim lads will be, ah, in less biochemical disequilibrium.

Morgan Freeman Narrator voice: in truth, Unai doesn’t give a fuck.

I expect to see at least two appear in sunglasses and flip flops. And beach towels. And factor 50 sun cream. It's going to be too warm to run around much.

Sounds ideal for sweating some of that alcohol out of the system.

If anyone offered me 4-0 with no catastrophic injuries, combined with Everton and West Ham wins, I'd take that.

Same here, more bothered about Spurs potentially going down than finishing 5th, and it benefitting Bournemouth or Brighton. It would be different if Chelsea were likely to finish 6th.
