Got to be honest I'll be watching Spurs-Everton instead!

4-1 defeat.

I'm in the piss on their chips camp for Peps last game.
1978...When Ardilles and Ricky Villa arrived at Spurs, we went there and won 4-1.
1975...Norwich promotion party last game of the season (we were already up as well) we went there and won 4-1.
1974... Vic Crowe last game with nothing to play for, drew 0-0 at Orient to stop them getting promoted.

Add in Stevie G lifting the FA Cup as his farewell to Liverpool. Whoops!

Bad form to start the pre-match thread before we've had the European trophy parade.
Yes very very bad. It’s s long tradition to delay the pre match thread for the next match after the trophy parade. Bad eat a cat.

Ten things to look out for this weekend

Premier League: 10 things to look out for on the final day of the season

THE MANCHESTER CITY FAREWELL
Farewell Pep, thanks for coming. What a decade it has been at Manchester City, where their head coach has changed the course of English football for ever. Kids are desperate to play out from the back and technique, for a long period, was favoured over physique. Like when Jürgen Klopp left Liverpool, it will be a sad day for the Premier League, not that opposition fans will admit it. Nor will they be too bothered that Bernardo Silva is on his merry way too, having distinguished himself as one of the smartest operators to have graced the league, while being incredibly consistent over nine years. The Portuguese bows out with John Stones, who at his best is one of the finest defenders in world football, but has been held back by injuries during his career. City fans will miss all three but it feels like everyone should take a moment to acknowledge their achievements. WU

It being Guardiola's last game is literally the only talking point of note from the match. How hungover our reserves are is not a point of interest to anyone.

Stop getting wound up over literally nothing.

Yeah I was going to say - let’s be honest how interested are Villa fans in this game? I would suggest most aren’t fussed, so why would we be a talking point in a game where in the grand scheme of things the outcome is inconsequential for Villa. Guardiola’s last game is obviously the story.

I know we are likely to get stuffed as they will be up for it and we won't but I would love us to not lose and keep 4th place - worth about 3m more.

Team

Bizot
Garcia
Konsa
Mings
Maatsen
Onana (gets injured on 90+5 which keeps him out for next 6 weeks and missed World Cup)
Barkley
Luiz
Sancho
Rogers
Tammy

If I fly over and bring my boots can I play please.

I don't really care, I'll probably still be celebrating our Europa Cup win.

I look forward to mock cheering Man City goals and chanting '1-0 to the Champions' as soon as Arsenal start winning their game.

Bizot

Garcia
Bogarde
Mings
Maatsen

Hemmings
Luiz

Elliot
Barkley
Sancho

Tammy

And I don't want to see any subs on the pitch over the age of 20.  We'll get hammered, and I would genuinely struggle to give less of a shit.

I hope we're not involved in any way in the Guardiola wankfest. Otherwise: meh.
