Anyway, that’s become part of my new belief system along with god being a giant platypus that we praise every other Sunday (different boy’s accidental interpretation of a hymn)

You can’t leave it there.
Which hymn?

Well, I've become a glory hunter and this afternoon jumped on Bury's promotion charge. 4-1 victory over Congleton and five points clear at the top of the Northern Premier Division One West.  A Gigg Lane crowd of 4,790.

I’ve had a bet, for the first time in years, to make today’s football more interesting to me. If I win I might have another go on Monday.

Just seen the Cov score. Only a dopy Norwich twat scoring an own goal delayed my early retirement*.

*Cost me £22.
