Rumours about us being in for Garner at Everton. I’d love it, LOVE IT if we signed him.

Sadly the source has as much inside knowledge as me.

Romano?

Worse. Football Insider.

Konsa has given us what, 7 years? He's 28, lives in London and would get a massive wage increase and join the champions, and champions League finalists. From his perspective, I have zero issue with him wanting the move. However.... Pay the bloody money.

But we've just had a kitchen island put in!

Indeed - but it’s unhelpful given the experience we’ve lost already this summer.

Men tend to be more pathetic. "What's Mick Jagger got that I haven't?" Said Mervyn in 1972, upon purchase of the most expensive caravan in the showroom.

Particularly if the situation drags on for much longer.

Konsa? If we sell him we’d need to recruit a Rolls Royce central defender, younger and probably for less money. A player used to playing at the top end of a top division and an established international. Good luck with that. We’d be absolutely insane to sell him this window.

Mosquera, Ordonez, Diomande.

Has Mick got a 25% discount at the Owners Bar and all supervised kids activities? I don't think so. It's almost paid for itself by now.

After getting back in the Champions League if you’d told me we’d have to sell Rogers, Tielemans or Konsa I would have accepted it. But all three? What a catastrophe.

He’s not gone yet.

I think he will sign the new deal. But if he didn’t, we’ve had seven years out of him, huge value for money, and if someone pays us the right figure we’ll have made a profit.

Not ideal to lose him, but we can’t really hold anything against him.

Ordonez for me. Looks classy every time I see him.

Haha! Even considering your rich canon, I think this is a good one.
