On Instagram, Romano saying we’ve spoken to Ndiaye from Everton in recent weeks. Not sure how credible this is.

Very good player but we're gonna get quoted silly prices by clubs now especially in England after Rogers' sale.
..agree, great player but like Gibbs-White will go for big money.

Yes I think we should shop in a market far away where they have not heard of the ****** Rogers etc. How about a couple of lads from an Amazonian tribe?

My bigger concern is that we came into the window needing 2 wide players, and now seem to only want 1, despite the departures.

I note with interest Jamie Leweling of Stuttgart has turned down Bournemouth for the second time, they tried to buy him in January. The right winger has speed to burn and some. £35m should do it.

He can also play on the left but prefers the right. Not a bad showreel, bloody strong for a winger.

Wingers from the Bundesliga don't have the best track record. Would he be the exception that proves the rule?

Never a bad idea to look at somebody Bournmeouth are interested in - very decent track record
Absolutely and they made two offers this year shows how highly they rate him. The lad does want to play in the PL just not for Bournemouth. He could stay at Stuttgart and play in the CL or he could join us and do both.
Yes, if Bmouth are after him go and get him double quick. By the way who are we talking about?

Annoying as it is, at this stage of our development of the squad, there is much better value abroad than in the domestic market where you’re paying the PL experience premium. The advantage is though players will come as they like the wages, invariably higher, and the level of coaching and competition.

🚨💣 BREAKING: Aston Villa are now seriously pursuing a loan deal for Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho (22) — Unai Emery is a big admirer.

Loan deal would be fine, IMO, so long as there are no stupid clauses meaning we don't actually play him.

Only if we have an option to buy please. An option, not a compulsory!

Emery will sort him out, his talent is unquestionably there and he's only 22.

Would still need another winger and centre mid.

As long as we avoid an Elliott situation (surely we will, given Monchi basically got sacked for that debacle), and the loan for a LW means we can go and bring in Mbaye on a permanent off the right, I'd be fine with it.

Agree that Unai is the best placed manager to get him firing. We saw how good he can be when they beat us 4-1 last season.

I’ll make a case for Garnacho not a great one but a case never the less

Yes he comes over as a prick, all that sitting on advertising boards and acting like a twat is something he picked up playing for man Utd because they like that entitled shit
his attitude also might be in question but he is young so hopefully can be ironed out

But there’s no doubt he is a pacey tricky player, he’s caused us a few problems at times but his end product is a bit rubbish
That’s where Emery and the team come in, I doubt he’s as far gone in his attitude as Duran was because even Unai gave up on him he was a lost cause, but I think garnacho could be saved
Yes he’s a risk but is also a precocious talent which needs coaching and if he is willing to learn and is able to play in the Emery system he could be a good signing

I’ve always liked a maverick player, is Garnacho a unpolished gem with some skills or has he flattered to deceive and it’s caught up with him now
If Unai Emery brings him to Villa it will be interesting to find out

I’m sorry but that’s all I got

Would we be going for Garnacho or Jackson if we hadn’t sold Rogers to them ?

Or are we obligated to take one of their cast offs as part of the Rogers deal ?
