It's football, it is built on hypocrisy. Of course we'd love him if he delivered for us.

Ah massively, pointless trying to fight it. How much time, money and energy we waste on this hobby, why not get the most out of it for you.

Some links to Palhinha, loan/option to buy.

Yes! that would be my choice . Perfect Onana replacement

I dislike the fucker, but only because of what happened to Kamara.
But, he’s a decent player. He stepped up in their fight against relegation and it’s about time we had a nasty bastard at the club.

Yeah, and we probably aren't going to get Peak Dennis Mortimer as Onana cover for a year. We definitely need strength in depth and he provides it. I'm on board with that.

We need a bit more nastiness, anyway.

Abso-bloody-lutely this. I think it'd be a really solid signing.

If he's available & prepared to come on loan, it's a no-brainer.

I think the issue is that they don’t want a loan, they want him off the books ( big earner apparently) . He’s also getting on a bit, so can’t see us wanting to buy him after a season on loan.

Maybe they could put in a clause that will trigger an obligation to buy after a number of games to suit all parties?

He's more suited to the type of role Kamara does for us.

I can't ever remember us having that sort of horrible midfielder before. Maybe McMahon in the 80s.

I can think of loads of horrible midfielders since then. Just maybe not in that way.

McGinn doesn't shy away from it. Palhinha feels like a stop gap but maybe that's what we needed right now. We are hoping Kamara comes back fully fit and plays 35-40 games next season. If he doesn't then we are in trouble.
