The only quote I had seen was

Hmm, another "little injury" I wonder.

As frustrating as it is i would imagine coming as a boy into Prem level football, training, diet, playing etc must take a while to adapt whilst a toll on the body if not used to it

That could account for his absence from the team sheet in the first week. But getting on for two months later? Nah. There is something slightly discordant going on. Let's hope it's not a long-term thing.
