Aston Villa 0-1 Everton
Everton had won just one of their previous seven games and gone out of the FA Cup early.
Yes, it's been a scratchy Aston Villa display but this has been mightily impressive by the Toffees.

Losing at home to dross and we have voluntarily to have no senior striker on the bench to change it.

This was the game I feared for months.

This is the game you need a goalscoring striker.

Where the fuck is he?

Come on Ollie where are you?

Shite.

Yes but you can’t blame the club, blame the cheats who run the league

I dunno, I think most clubs wouldn’t let a key player leave until they had a direct replacement sorted.

Correct.  It was sheer madness to let it happen.

I am absolutely furious about this performance today.

Totally insipid, pathetic. No desire. Weak. Out muscled.

Too many anonymous players. And I’m even more furious that we sold our only other senior striker who could have made a difference today.

Pathetic across the board.
Not good enough.

As bad as Guessand is, he's done more than Watkins.
