As pointed out by another poster on here, the absence of Var gave them licence to kick lumps out of our players. So that’s what they did from the off.

But it was good to see the linesmen were able to do their job and raise their flags immediately, instead of that delayed, injury risking nonsense when the whole ground knows a player is offside.

Was reading the post-match thread on a Spurs forum and someone said that was Xavi Simons' best game for them "by a mile".

Given I think I noticed him about twice, that's pretty damning.

Thought Malen did really well for both goals. Lovely weight of pass to release Buendia for the first and excellent movement for the second. How did he play in general?

Yeah I’ve seen quite a few spuds fans/pages saying their second half performance was their best of the season. That’s pretty poor considering they were threatening for only about 15-20 minutes after half time, and even that was mostly based on disruption and aggression rather than any technical ability or tactical nous.

I never thought they were going to equalise, and I'm the most pessimistic fan we have. If that's their best half of the season, they're shite.

Wolves best performance of the season, Tottenham, Man Utd etc etc they're all turning in their best performances of the season and have all left with nothing. We are now a good, strong, resilient team.

Liverpool confirm Bradley has been ruled out all season with his knee injury. Hope Bouba gets better news.

Bradley’s looked worse, but appearance isn’t always an indication of severity.

Simons is an odious little prick.  Lucky not to get a card for his challenge on Cash no matter what stage of the game it was.

He's usually anonymous, but did have some good moments yesterday. That Mouani seemed to be masterful at running offside.

Spiritual heir to Son then, under Emery anyway.

"You'll never beat our offside trap"
