You can have trialists play in friendlies, so I don’t think you have to be registered to play.

Unless I've misunderstood we can't even register him as our player at the moment - so if we can't register him as our player, he's not really ours to lend elsewhere.

I googled how long the CAS take to return a verdict and it’s usually months. But you can fast track a decision if both parties agree, such as if there’s a transfer window deadline, and then it only takes 5-6 weeks.

So hopefully we will hear in the next couple of weeks.
