Can’t understand why Dyche saying our first was due to “poor game management”. I’ve just watched it back on the highlights. Would have liked to have seen Malen and Watkins together today but we never needed it.

I kond of see what he means. After seeing the rush to get inside just before halftime, I said to my son, let's go to the bogs too, and we may be back before the second half. As soon as I said it, Watkins scores. I think Forest were also mentally in the cabin at the same time, given there were only seconds left. But switch off against Unai's Villa for a second and bang, you're behind.

Think Ollie is right.  Maybe people just wanted to get back in the warm.

Gibbs -White would do well under Unai.

Couldn't agree more, made for Villa and Unai and i'm sure he would want to come to Villa Park.

Great result, back on track.

And who exactly are you dropping him for?!

I wouldn’t necessarily drop anyone for him, but I could see him being SJM long term replacement.
His performance today showed that he can play in multiple positions.
I really look forward to the day that we can add this caliber of player to the squad without having to let someone as good go out the door.

OTD 12 month ago they were 3rd and 8 points ahead of us.

Bloody hell, that's criminal!
They’ve arguably improved their squad since then as well. They lost Elanga, but they brought in Jesus, Hutchison, Luiz, McAtee, Ndoye etc.

They’ve spent way more than I had noticed.

Ndoye, Bakwa and Kalimuendo cost over €100m between them. McAtee linked with a move away already.

Whilst he’s obviously been good for them overall, it demonstrates why it’s better not to have a nutcase owner like Marinakis who interferes at the wrong times. Nuno was doing perfectly well there, over-achieving if anything, and now look at them.

Hutchison didn't look all that yesterday either, he was another £35m last summer.

Edu’s come in and pissed everyone off. His signings have generally been shit too.

Marinakis appears to have backed the wrong man.

A real shame for Forest.

Enjoyed seeing their revival last season.

How could Dyche - who was on the books at Forest when Clough was there - think the type of non threatening vomit football served up yesterday was acceptable.

He always catches the eye at VP, probably because he always seems to score. I like him and he never stopped running yesterday, he seemed the only Forest player who wasn't happy to lose. But that said, in any transfer scenario, he would play in one of our no10 roles, he's not moving Rogers and G-W isn't so much better than Buendia that it would go any way close to justifying the cost of the deal.

I love little Emi but Gibbs White is an upgrade and some.

Yeah, if Forest go down then I can definitely see us being interested. Feels like exactly the sort of player that Emery would love.
