Midfield two haven't shown up.

Probably Onana's fault.

Loads of pressure on Chelsea now, they played that first half at max speed, we got away with that, just 1 goal down, they will be sheeting bricks at what we do next, Watkins on Malen off, most important change.

Come Unai sort them out, we are still in this, let turn this around. All to do.

Should have been Buendia in Rogers slot and vice versa.

The worst 45 minutes we’ve played since Go Ahead Eagles.Malen isn’t the right man here, he’s not somebody who can hold the ball up. Let’s hope the 2nd half is much better, but if we get out of here with a draw we can thank our lucky stars

It's not the reason we are losing but the reffing is abysmal - letting them away with so many fouls. Cucurella is the biggest cheating twat I've seen in a while.
This is very true.

I think Buendia is a off the bench player . He can be rubbish when he starts but when he comes on can be magnificent .    dont think McGinn has been too good neither in fact to be fair not many have.

I've noticed that teams seem to be targeting Martinez from corners recently.

Playing like a team who dont think they belong in the title race or even top 4 conversation.

We’ve never been in the title race. Not a chance. It’s media bollocks

This. We've achieved miracles in the last three months but we're not in a title race, to be in the top 4 after the palace game will be excellent.

We've been poor so far, we won't be that shite in the second half

If we come out and are much more aggressive from the off, we’ll shock them. They’re probably thinking they’re in for an easy ride at the moment.

And to be fair, we’re making it easy for them.

Why do we always shit the bed when we’re so close to being good?

He has to make a triple change at HT. Cash is going to get a red, Buendia has decided to unsuccessfully channel prime Zidane in extremely dangerous areas and this isn't the match for Malen.

Garcia, Onana and Watkins all on at HT for me.

Watkins need to come on for Malen. I would also like Bogarde for Cash. Then Onana for Buendia to try stabilisize some midfield control. . What bad defending for their goal but cant say they have an undeserved lead. Another Villa second half please.
All this

I'm blaming Carrodus.

Considering Chelsea’s two Defensive midfielders cost more than our starting 11 combined, I’ve seen nothing of note from them. Plan seems to be get the ball to Neto out wide to cross it in and see if Palmer can pick up any scraps. Barely impressive. Goal we conceded was a mess. Nothing to fear from them. We can get something here but our final third play needs to be much better than it has been and we need more from Malen.

He gets pinned by two attackers but if he pushes them away, Atwell would give a penalty. Not sure what the answer is.
