Last match thread was Sunderland (a)...

Looks a good result in retrospect.

looking forward to this - a big think a draw is most likely but if we could win we really would be cooking!

Looking around the grounds and most teams have regular first team players on the bench tonight. Emery’s looking after a few tonight.

But all the same, if this goes wrong I will blame KNVillan. ;)

If we don't score tonight, even Smirker will blame KNVillan.

Thought Mitoma was back for them. Glad he's not

I’m in a wine bar in New York. I haven’t slept in 24 hours. I don’t actually know which way is up or down anymore now…

Come on Villa!
Maybe Guessard will look the business in your current state!

Garcia's alive!

Oh yes, good spot! Good news, I liked him. However Cash has upped his game this season  massively.

He was back on the bench for Young Boys

As long as we don’t lose, I’ll be happy. Or fast asleep. One of the two.

Like Watkins, you have my sympathy for your injury, but you should be nowhere near starting the match (thread)!

Contain, contain, contain, contain then explode.
0-1 to the Villa. Shot from outside the box.

Fingers crossed.

Pretty defensive line up.

Hope Maatsen is switched on tonight. He'll have his work cut out against Minteh who's been in great form lately.

He's had a new lease of life ever since leaving Eastenders.
