We were too busty trying to get Malen his hat-trick or Ollie to score. It could have cost us. Unai will no doubt be pointing that out.

Too front heavy?

Funny old night. Completely dominant for about 70 minutes and should have been out of sight but their disallowed goal seemed to change things. Not that they had too many chances other than the one they scored. I don't think I've ever seen trouble like that at VP. Bunch of twats. I hope their fans get banned.
I tell you what, I'm boycotting Toblerones this Christmas.

And Nazi gold.

Bogarde was caught napping badly for their goal. Torres fortunate enough for the other one, was in no man's land really. This competition is only likely to liven up when it gets to the knock outs. Some minutes into the legs of fringe players and Malen getting the goals. I'm not sure what else you can take from these games,. Nowhere near the intensity of PL.

Well Torres was on the bench so could well be classed as no-mans land, not sure how he was supposed to stop the chance from there though.

Nice one 👍 sorry Pau!

Hard to reconcile their wannabe hard act with the sleepy German-style picture post card town, with lovely buildings around the river and 3 grizzly bears in it. Unless it was just the madness of Weatherspoons and not paying £10.50 a pint like we did last year, that sent them wild. You got no sense of moodiness around their ground or faffing in the station back to town after.

This Ultra thing with the European Clubs is a bit pathetic. It's about time UEFA started punishing these clubs properly for their misbehaviour. I wonder if they were brave enough to venture into town for a drink?

Apparently YB are on a fans behaviour warning with UEFA?

I met a group of Norwegian lads who’d fly out to Malta every year and get absolutely arseholed on the beer there as a point there was about 10% of the cost in Norway. Stay up til god knows when (well past dawn) every night drinking. They’d also go on twice annual trips to Denmark to drink heavily and stock up on porn.

Nice bunch of lads though. Were a good laugh.

Yea agree, the whole team looked desperate for Ollie to score. Sancho (who despite the fact I don’t think is that good played well I thought last night), had a really good opportunity to shoot, but tried to play Watkins in through the eye of a needle.
Anyway, strange k/o time, flat atmosphere apart from their idiots, felt like a training game. On to the dogheads.
It seemed clear that once Ollie was on, the instruction was to try and set him up for a goal.  Unai just wants to get him firing again.  The irony is last night it could have cost us the win.  Despite that it was an enjoyable night, but have to agree with the views on Guessand, a very poor buy thus far.

A decent hour and then shit.
The last 30 mins were abysmal. Young Boys were really not very good, lower Championship standard at best, yet we allowed them to dominate us in the last half hour.

I thought Malen and Maatsen were very good, Tielemans and Onana glided through

I had a ticket for the game and booked the afternoon off but only got out of the office in London at 7pm and caught the last 30 in the pub. I thought Maatsen looked decent going forward but was caught out for the disallowed goal and was also caught napping a few times in our own box. I don’t yet trust him as a defender.
You'd have struggled anyway as the trains from Euston were fucked.  My son was booked on the 14:10 due in at 15:30, and arrived just in time to neck the pint I'd bought him in the Holte End car park "fan zone" (one beer trailer tucked in the corner) before we had to dash in for KO.  I was "lucky" enough to be working in Nuneaton yesterday  :D

So something we do in every match🤔
