The most Villa thing…

When we threaten to push onwards and upwards, we end up doing a colourful fart in our pants and never quite take that next step.

Disappointing half. We’re better than that. Must do better.

I'd stay the same first 15.

Very poor first half from Villa, expect goals in the second against a Leeds side who are at best a mid-table Championship side, can't understand what we are messing about at, sort yourselves out Villa and Emi needs to man up, they are wining this on physicality alone so we need Barcley on and Guessand to deal with that, can't believe we are losing this,

They always either get promoted with a huge number of points and goals or lead for 90% of the Championship season before fucking-up. They're anything but a mid-table Ch'ship side. They're a 15th-23nd best team in England.

Leeds have only lost 1 of 5 home games this season.

Emery hasn't lost against a promoted side according to a stat that flashed up during the first half.

Fear not. There's a first time for everything!

Why are they now using elbows to determine offside?

What is the media love in about with these cloggees?

Goes back a long way, even when Revie was back handing the corrupt Italians in the cities fairs cup our media was loathed to call them out.

Ollie gets out muscled too often these days and has lost a yard. Leeds a Championship side giving there all.

So presumably you can score off your elbow then? No, thought not.

Leeds are already running out of puff. They're starting to miss the press.

It doesn't matter though because we can't string more than three passes together the second we go over the halfway line.

We began to do just that towards the end of the half, though. Dirty Leeds' tactics rely on them closing us down all over the pitch - and their forwards have started leaving a couple of our defenders in space. They're visibly playing five yards further towards their own goal than they were at kick off.

I would imagine they'll start the second half more intensely, but we'll dominate the last twenty minutes or so.

Urgh, absolutely hating this so far, we're playing into their filthy hands. I do feel like we can turn this around with a minor tweak or two, over to you Unai!
