Absolutely, but Robertson puts me in mind of Lescott when we signed him, no use giving contracts to players that just aren't up to it any more.

Williams at Forest covers both full back positions and only 24. Would be a good fit for us I reckon.

There are good players at spurs, forest and West Ham.

The problem with that is thiugh its short term success and then we are left with aging squad and if unai left i would be very worried for the next person who came in.

This is the problem we had with gerrard.

We nedd to build a team for the future that is not nust competitive  for a year but for many years. We have enough 30 year olds on the squad lets aim for more long term signings
