What’s with the hard-on on here for Bergvall? Are we talking about the Spurs midfielder? If so I think he’s shit.

Thankyou. ,  i don’t think he is all that ,  he runs about a lot but so did Robbie Savage. .  They both have beautiful hair though

I'd add Robertson for about £5m to replace Digne to that list as well.

I think Robertson is out of contract this summer.

He's Swedish, tall and blonde. Hard-ons are inevitable, blame biology.

I thought he was going into his last year?

Not 100% sure. I thought I heard/read it was this summer when he was linked with Spuds in January.

Robbo for Lucas wouldn't do much about lowering the average age of the squad.

Two years in it I think, but Robbo performing better at present maybe.

Bergvall world be a great acquisition but I doubt think we'll be able to get him; there'll be other teams competing for him.
So, who is out there - the new Wharton, Anderson or Bergvall - that we can get?

Anderson isn't gettable, he'll be in Manchester. Wharton was definitely linked to bigger clubs before the season but have no idea if he has managed to kick on at all.

He said 'who's the new...' meaning what other unearthed gems are there out there waiting to be picked up.

Ah, yeah, thick by me.

Add Julian Brandt to the list of Bosman signings.

Wasn't he one of Adrian Mole's fictional characters?

There is 9 months in it.  Robertson is 32 tomorrow.  I'm all for looking for a long-term replacement for Digne, and reducing the average age of the squad, but signing Robertson brings the average age of our squad down by about a fortnight.

And while I imagine his next contract will not be as big as his current Liverpool one, that's not going to bring the wage bill down either.

Robertson's legs looked like they'd gone last season before Digne's, I'd be steering well clear myself.

Williams at Forest covers both full back positions and only 24. Would be a good fit for us I reckon.
